TANABO VETERINARY CLINICS

My poor Dog was dying of cancer -- they did xrays and told me there was no hope.

The doctor was as always very professional and great with my bulldog. The only reason for the overall B rating was that the facility wasn't as clean as it has been in the years past. It was an early appointment so the time of day was not the reason, this was just the office visit room so I don't know what the operating room looked like.

..first off we live 50 miles from the nearest vet..and most vets. here are large animal vets. ( horses,cows,ect. ) but in a time frame of 30 years and 3 or 4 vets. we were very happy that Tanabo came to Elko NV. .. Our Italian Greyhound got very sick Stumbling fall down couldnt eat sick ......WE took him to Tanabo and was told he had a bad case of Pancreatitis so bad that he might not live but didnt know why he was so bad.. so we left him with the Doc. to run some tests..we came back a few hours later and he said come on back so we could be with Reggie the dog and said he took an x-ray and scraching his own head he said look at this .. As we looked we saw that he some how swallowed a rock that was about an inch in size and got stuck in his gut .....So we were givin the choice let him go or get the rock out knowing we might lose him anyway ...DR. Rob was honest and said it was going to be around $800.00 and it might not work ...to us thats a lot of money but we did it anyway ...And now we have a $800.00 rock thats not even shiny just a grey rock and a very happy and older Iggy ( Reggie ) still with us....and we have be back to Tanabo many time since ..Hes a wonderful DR.
