Tony Lewis (owner/operator of Bob G. Lewis construction) sent two men out to remove the old windows and install the new windows. I was not here that day and my husband was in and out. When I got home, I was not satisfied with the installation as they had used my own oak trim from my garage to trim out the windows on the inside, which at the time seemed strange to me, but my husband seemed satisfied and I let it go. A few days after the installation we got a big wind and it was roaring through the newly installed windows. We then sprayed water on the windows and it came through like the windows weren't even there. We call Tony and he claimed that it was the windows, not the installation. I then called Amsco and they said it was the installation not the windows. We went the rounds with both companies for awhile without satisfaction from either one. I also documented the water damage etc. with pictures and e-mailed them to Tony Lewis since he refused to come out and look at the installaion. Amsco also said that the windows that we purchased were not made for high wind areas. Never heard that one before. With winter coming on and our children about to freeze to death we decided to call another window installer who was able to get Amsco to provide brand new windows that were made differently to handle the high wind and paid the new company to reinstall the new windows. The new installers, Montrose Glass ( who I would highly recommend) laughed at the incredibly poor installation job that was done by Bob G. Lewis. There were huge gaps between the window and wood frame, hence the shady oak trim to hide the gap. I WOULD NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. Recently, another poor unsuspecting neighbor hired this company and said that the job they did was horrendus. I should have written this review earlier and saved them some grief. This company should be run out of town.
