The owner can sometimes be a hard to get a hold of. You have to contact him on his cell phone and he will tell you when he can come out and perform the service. The first date given to me was not met and the work was not done. On a second call, he said that he couldn't make the original date because the weather was not cooperating. He did not tell me this proactively. He did show up for the service the second time with the new date. The tumbleweeds were picked up and the lawn was definitely de-thatched. I could not tell if he did the aeration. I arrived back home when they were almost finihsed and they were already de-thatching. Normally during an aeration, I always see the tell-tale signs of the work because the small "plugs" of dirt are left behind in the lawn. I did not see any of these, but they may have been picked up by the de-thatching. He also told me that he would fertilize, but I didn't see his team apply any fertilizer. I would have thought this would have been the last step in the process. My suspision is tha it was not applied. I do use this company for my weekly mowing service and they do a good job. They are also one of the cheapest alternatives I have found in the area for the level of work performed. I would sum up the negatives as poor communication and not always doing a great job with the added services, such as fertilization. They are also very poor in billing. You will get a bill once-in while, but it's not very professional.
