Superior Door and Window took my $7,700 deposit July 2022. They said the windows were in their possession in October 2022 but could not install because of the snow. April of 2023 their phones go straight to hold music and they do not ever answer nor do they respond to email.

I was shopping for a new entry door and stopped in at their showroom. Everyone was very helpful and answered all my questions. I asked for a quick quote so I could take it home to my husband and compare other quotes we had gotten. They had the best price and quickest delivery time out of 3 other places that quoted me. I placed my order without issue a few days later and was able to order hardware with it also. They even gave me the name of someone who can install it.

I actually have been to to this location a few times and have ordered some doors and moldings from them and was very happy with the product I received. The moldings they have are very well priced.

All I needed was for them to order a simple back door for my kitchen. It took several weeks for it to arrive .  I was initially told that it would only take 10 days.  They never came to measure it . I had to have the installer measure it and get them the information. When my door finally did arrive , they never called , I had to contact them about it.   

I would order from them again but only because the price was fair.  Their service really could use improvements. 

 I must say however,  that the person  working in the warehouse was very good and he actually impressed me with his attentiveness.

There was nothing that I disliked. I dealt with the owner when ordering the door. He was friendly and competent and did what he said. They did it on a time frame that we agreed to. Everything was fine. I think his pricing was competitive. The owner was great.

I am afraid this will be a lengthy review. I called the company to get a bid for windows and doors. It took them a couple of weeks to get back to me with a bid. We agreed to bring them on for the work and at first, they did a fabulous job on our french door and an inside door. After that, it was a complete and horrible disaster! We made arrangements to have the windows installed, after I called to find out if they had arrived and they had. Because this is our second home, we were not sure if we would be there for the install that the installer wished to do over a weekend. We thought we might be able to be there but things happened and I let him know we would not be (had not been a problem in the past) and gave him the code and instructed him how to enter the house. This was on a Friday and theywere to come the next day. When I got home from work on Friday, there was an e-mail from the installer asking me to call (it was now after 5:00) and that he wanted me to overnight the check for the installation. On Monday, I found out that he had not in fact gone out to install the windows as we arranged. He stated it was because he did not get a check a head of time. Really? We have to pay a head of the install? I paid a portion to order the windows but not the whole amount. At any rate, I asked to speak with his manager, I got Jim on the phone. He began by telling me that I should know the drill since and quot;Philand quot; at the showroom explained everything to me. What? Who? Where? I told him I had never been to the showroom nor had I met Phil and he wanted to argue with me. I told him that I was not used to doing business with anyone in the manner and I would follow up with a bad review. He backed off and told me he would call me back with another install date. He did and we arranged another weekend. Later that eve, I am feeling uncomfortable about not being there the following weekend when I arranged to have them come out because of something that happened to kill my trust. I send Jeremy, the installer and e-mail asking him to come out a different weekend, when I know my partner and I will be there. I get a call the next day from Peggy who wants to know what all had gone on. I tell her, let her know about what had happend and she immediately becomes defensive. I got: and quot;we never go to someone's home unless they are thereand quot; - twice they had to measure my windows and I WAS NOT THERE. A third time was when they came to install the two doors, we were there but left them for the day. There was a lot of this type of talk, and quot;no we don't, yes we doand quot; but this was not the case. We began a shouting match (I am not proud of this) we agreed that they would not install and Peggy agreed to have the windows delivered the next day, as I was going to be there - we agreed on a time, between 10:00 - 11:00 AM. At 11:20 the next day, No one had arrived with the windows, no call so I call. I get Peggy on the phone who proceeds to tell me she left me a message that stated she cancelled the delivery because and quot;you are a dangerous and threateneing person.and quot; She further went on to tell me that she phoned the Douglas County Sheriffs office to file a complaint about me. According to Peggy, the complaint stated that I made threatening comments to her and her staff,and quot; I was a and quot;dangerous and threatening human beingand quot; and further that I and quot;harassed her and her staff.and quot; Wow, she made a false police report. She was quite smug when she shared this with me. Shame on you Peggy! The long and short, I phoned the Sheriffs office and since I never got a call back from the office who took the report, I called his Sgt. He told me that he probably did not return my call because he did not think this was a serious enough matter to follow up, of course I chuckled with him, shared where I work, had another chuckle and he blew it off and told me he would still have his officer call. I wished to clean my side of the street. Over one month later and several calls to the Deputy, he has never returned my call. Very SCARY people. I spoke with my attorney and she advised me not to have conversation and if I did, it should be recorded. My partner took over and only spokle with Jim, they were aware we would record the conversations. We hired a contractor to install, my partner rented a U-Haul to pick up the windows and guess what???? Nine were ordered and NOT ONE FIT!!! Jim arranged for his employee to come out and check and this was correct, not one of the nine windows were measured accurately and he agreed they would not work. My partner worked with Jim to get our money back and Jim had the nerve to demand that we order new windows from them. My partner reminded him that Peggy, his employee made a false police report against his partner and all he wants is his money back. Jim did not want to give us back our money and my partner told him we would just go to Visa and get our money back that way. Even though his employee agreed the windows were not right, Jim did not wish to give us a refund? What kind of a business behaves this way?? Jim finally agreed but wanted to make sure that a bad review would not be written about them. My partner told him we would get our money back one way or another, meaning either he would send a check or we would go to Visa. He finally agreed to send us back our money. A week later we had a check. My partner was worried about leaving a bad review, as he wondered since this company is clearly shady, will something happen to our home? Will someone come out and due some damage? Lets hope this does not happen. I really hope they look at this review, not so much as a bad thing, even though it was a horrible experience for us and I hope no one has to go through this, but rather as a way to improve upon how to run a business.

Superior really has it together. We were able to order a door the same day we went to their showroom and were sure it was ordered. Superior's products are first-rate. Superior appears to crosstrain their people because the person who sold us the door also builds frames and does other things hands on - and they were a good salesperson to work with. Superior and the salesperson were always there to answer a question or find an answer. They returned calls and contacted us when they said they would. Superior doesn't do the actual installation, but they helped us locate a good quality contractor and handyman to install. The work was done when the person said it would be and was done well. The best part was that we saved $1200 over Lowe's and got the door we wanted instead of something close. We tried Lowe's first and after 3 weeks were still waiting just to be able to place an order.
