It went great!

I visited Sierra Hearth and Home store looking for a new pellet stove. The owners were friendly and informative of the products available. I received a price quote, and scheduled a pre-installation labor and material quote that went on time as well. I compared their quote with other companies around Reno and theirs came in the lowest on the price of the stove and labor. I made the purchase and waited for the stove to arrive. I did not receive a call that the stove was in, or for scheduling an installation. When I called to follow up, I found out then that the stove was in, so from two weeks out, I scheduled an installation to be done on Friday the 8th of Oct. On Tues the 5th I called to verify the install was still on schedule and was informed they would call me back if anything was different. I did not receive a call so I scheduled a day off from work to be there on Friday the 8th. I got a call on the 7th that they would be out on Monday the 11th to install the stove. I called back and informed them I had scheduled with them on the 8th and reconfirmed the installation, and they said they were sorry, but couldn't be there on the 8th and the earliest would be the 11th. Well this put us out again for another three days with no heat source. I was not pleased at all with the miss-communication and scheduling problem. On Monday, the installation crew showed up promptly and the installation was done professionally. The final expense came in lower than was quoted which was good, but there were some trim panels that were not available which are back ordered, and they said they will deliver them when they come in. The pellet stove seems to be working fine and it feels good to finally have some heat.
