Plumber called a day earlier than promised and was there relatively soon after calling. The old toilets and new toilets were replaced within two hours.

While I thought my 25 year old electric water heater had started a slow tank leak, the plumber determined that the slow water leak was actually coming from a failed gate valve (also 25 years old). In addition to installing a new, more modern ball-type shutoff valve, he recommended replacing a couple of original copper flex pipes at the top of the water heater. I was impressed with his punctuality, honesty and workmanship.
The total price was a very reasonable $165, too. I will definitely be using Precision Plumbing when I do replace my old water heater in the next couple of years.

The reason I am writing this review now is because I did not know that there was a problem with their work until now. I just had a home inspection done and to my complete surprise the inspector said that the water heater install was not up to standard.
The water heater drip line was not installed correctly and they did not put a drip pan in.
After paying so much money to get this done and then to find out that it was not done correctly really makes me angry.

Extremely polite and professional and was done quickly. Explained everything he was doing and why and explained the pricing. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

They were honest, came straight out and did the work and they were very reasonable. He told me exactly what was wrong and what he was going to do and he did exactly what he said. He responds to your call, whether he didn't take the job or not he calls you back. And he lets you know if he is busy that he can't do it and that's the reason why or he will tell you if you can wait and he will be more than happy to do it for you. He responded in a prompt manner.

Problem was with racking up unreasonable and unexplained charges and the response from the owner of the company about those charges (he would not tell me!).

I called Precision Plumbing on a Friday to service a toilet drain that was backing up. I talked to the company owner and told him that I believed the main sewer line needed to be roto-rootered. I was told that someone could come on Saturday morning, and there would be no extra charge for Saturday work. I was asked if the plumber could bring a camera to check his work and I said OK. There was no mention of any additional charge for the camera. The plumber showed up at his convenience 40 minutes earlier than the time we had agreed to as he had a game to go to.
He worked for a little less than 1 hour 15 minutes using the rotary rooter and the sewer camera to inspect his progress.
I received a bill for $230 about ten days later.
I was charged for 1 hour and 30 minutes of labor (at $80/hr)..
There was a charge of $85 for the camera.
There was an equipment charge of $25.
After a few phone calls, I got hold of the owner to question these unexpected charges on my bill.
I asked why I was charged for 1.5 hours when he his worker had worked less than 1 hour 15 minutes. His answer: That is how they charge.
I stated that I was not informed in advance that the camera would incur any additional charge (I had expected that it'd only incur $80/hr charge for the setting up and the use of the camera). Well, Precision Pluming owner replied that is what it was and said that he normally charges four time as much (meaning $330 for the use of camera!).
I also asked what the and quot;Equipment charge of $25and quot; was for? He told me he did not want to go into that! Wow, he did not want to tell his customer what he was charging for? That is a first! He also told me that his worker used the plunger in the toilet (which flooded while the plumber was doing his work) and he would not charge extra for that. I had to clean up the mess that was left.
This job that should have cost under $100, but ended up costing me more than twice as much from a plumber that does appear to care much about his customers.
