I contracted with Mr. Seals to put in a new irrigation system in my front and backyard. I hired a licensed company thinking that I wanted the job done right. As it turns out the job turned out to be a disaster. On the day the work was done I was sick in bed at another location when I received a call from Mr. Seals telling me that "I had a problem!" Turns out that his workers used a ditch witch to dig the trenches for the new pvc pipes and carelessly cut through ......Water pipes, Gas pipes, and Electrical lines. He called me up to tell me that "I" had a problem. I got up out of bed and stumbled over to the job site only to have Mr. Seals tell me that all the issues were now "MY" problems. Oh... and in the meantime Mr. Seals called the city to turn off the gas which then required paperwork and permits to and inspections to have the city unlock the gas service. That alone took over two weeks at an additional cost. I also had to hire plumbers and an electrician to make repairs on the other issues. Mr. Seals disavowed any responsibility toward contributing to either the repair work or the cost of the repair work. I took him to court, but he and his wife both lied to the judge and I lost my case. As far as the actual work was concerned Mr. Seals does sloppy and unprofessional work. His Anti-Siphon Valves were not placed at the locations we agreed upon and as a result I had to construct protective boxes to both cover them as well as hide them. The valve connections were not done correctly since he did not use grease caps and the connections eventually rusted out within 3 years. Do Not use this contractor.
