This move had to be closely coordinated with the parents admittance into a care facility about 100 miles from their home. The apartment was unfurnished, so the furniture needed to arrive on the same day it was picked up, and before the parents got there. The movers arrived on schedule and quickly loaded the selected furniture, clothing, and miscellaneous items. They had everything in the apartment roughly 4 hours after they left the house, including setting up the furniture in appropriate locations. This gave us time to make the bed an put away all the clothing and miscellaneous items before the parents arrived. After a leisurely drive and a stop for lunch, they arrived to a furnished and functional apartment. The movers' care and willingness to adapt to our needs made this move about as easy as it could possibly be.
