+ -1 moreSo, a time ago I ran a business in the Los Angeles, Orange County area and had a competitor named Riddle’s Appliance. Their business philosophy was quite simple, there is enough people in the world that you can screw everyone onetime, made an incredibly good living and stay in business for a long time. This business philosophy works mainly because at that time there was no social media. Getting information out to people on business ethics is a strong advantage to social media. Nothing that Carson Truck & Auto Repair disclosed to me on their estimate was not clear, the only person that made mistake was me for not reading the estimate before signing it. I was in a hurry and there were other issues with the repair of the truck, so I did not take the time to read the estimate that was for an oil change for $700.00. I will never be using them again, and I would suggest that if you choose them make sure that you understand all their outrageous charges. Marty's Appliance

+ -1 moreVery well. They asked many questions about my truck and its history (1995 Yukon). After their initial examination of the truck they called with detailed info on what they felt needed to be done, which was exactly what I had expected because of previous problems I'd had. This is the first time I have taken this truck to Carson Truck & Auto. The truck was ready as promised and the price was almost exactly what I had figured the service and repairs would be. A very fair price. Dave and Doug and their staff are friendly, courteous, honest and reliable. A very refreshing experience.
Description of Work: engine oil and filter change. lubed chassis, checked and topped off fluid levels, check tire pressures, serviced transmission, power steering, brake fluid, bled brakes. Installed new fuel filter, new wiper blades, new battery and replaced battery terminal ends and changed connections over to top post instead of side post. Labor involved in repairing the electrical wiring harness and changing the battery connection from side post to top post was fairly labor intensive.

+ -1 moreAs ALWAYS it went well.............they are ALWAYS professional, timely and most of all HONEST. Having been in the vehicle maintenance business for 25+ years..........I am very distrusting (for good reason) of most dealerships and independents. Their shop is clean, run effeciently and professionally!!
Description of Work: We took our class C motorhome and tow car to them to have them readied for an upcoming trip. On our 1988 tow car, they repaired the electric mirrors, going out of their way to find the correct switch online as even 'after market' companies didn't have one!! They also replaced the fuel pump, battery and serviced it. On our RV, they replaced the engine batery and serviced it as well. Both were fully inspected.
