Todd Laffoon, owner of Carson Overhead Door Company, saved me over a thousand dollars...at least for the time being.  Todd suggested to me that the addition of a single strut to my cracked steel garage door would extend the useful life of my door and would likely delay replacement for a few years.  The repair and a tune-up would cost $110.  Considering the high cost of door replacement, it seemed worth a try!
After Todd completed the work, I was amazed!  My door now operates smoothly and quietly.  It is clear to me that Todd really knows his business. In addition, I found him prompt about returning phone calls, punctual, and very professional.  Estimates are free.  "There is never a charge for information," he told me.  I am so glad that I consulted Todd before replacing my broken garage door!

I had heard a loud bang in the garage the night before but couldn't see anything amiss. The next day I was getting ready to go to the dentist and the garage door wouldn't open at all - even after releasing the garage door mechanism. I looked online at Angie's List (first time I had used it) and found Carson Overhead. I called and left a message asking him to call me back as soon as possible. Within 1/2 hour, he called. Because he already had several jobs lined up, he asked if he could come later in the day. Since I wasn't going anywhere, I said OK. He got there much earlier than I anticipated (around 3:00 PM), saw the problem immediately and had the part in his truck. Within 45 minutes I had a smooth running, quiet garage door that worked. Carson Overhead not only fixed the spring but did some much needed maintenance on the door. I definitely will recommend him.
