I cruised into Truth or Consequences, NM on a road trip at the very end of October 2017, and the day after I got into town, I noticed some coolant leaking from underneath my vehicle--not good. After doing a bit of research online, I headed over to Archie's Automotive with my situation and a slew of questions. Randy (owner/operator) dropped what he was doing upon my arrival and gave me his honest assessment of my situation. Deciding I didn't want to mess with a shaky water pump across the NM and AZ deserts, I had Randy put me on his schedule to get things taken care of. I hung around the shop for much of the work, and Randy took extra time to explain in detail all the in's and out's of the work, the nuances of my vehicle, and what I should expect going forward. Honest, hard-working, and very fair-priced, Randy is a knowledgable and experienced mechanic who treats his customers right. It's nice to know that mechanics like Randy are still out there in the world, treating their customers like family from day one while doing thoughtful and honest work. If you take your vehicle to Randy, you can rest assured he will do right by you and have you back on the road with not only a functioning vehicle, but a much greater knowledge of your car in general. My battery light came on and I pull in to Archie's to see if they could help me. Randy was working on another vehicle but took the time to check my vehicle. He discovered the alternator wasn't charging the battery got me a quote ordered the part and had me back on the road in about 1 1/2 hours. He was fast, friendly and explained everything to me.
