It was a reasonable price and they are local which is convenient. They are very good and the vets are very professional, knowledgeable, and a good place to take your pets. The staff are friendly, courteous, and considerate. I always go there.

Did a biopsy, inconclusive. Gave me the options available. No pressure and left me to make my own decision for her treatment. Have used this vet clinic for many years. They are open 7 days a week and in a rural area, that is special. Especially with Sunday morning porcupine quills in our dogs!
No complaints, just good vet care for a long time.

The office is generally quite busy so I often have to wait awhile in the waiting room. It unpleasant when people with dogs let the dogs come near the cats' carrier, as this scares the crap out of the cats. I would much prefer home visits as one of my cats is petrified, but can't get anyone to do it. At the very least the clinic staff should try to get people with cats into an exam room faster. It would be better to wait in an exam room where the cats don't need to get even more anxious than they already are by having a bunch of strange dogs scare them. That just makes the whole process more difficult.
I've been to this clinic 4-5 times over two years and end up seeing a different vet each time. They have done good work and have decent prices for the basic stuff, immunizations, exams, and diagnosing problems. My dog likes to go there because he gets treats and attention. They have friendly staff but are often busy multitasking, which means more waiting. Overall they are average, considering all the vets I have used over the years.

Our cat went through an unecessary car ride and vet exam b/c the staff cannot be trusted to simply affirm or deny whether they carry a certain brand and type of food. This is experience was unbelieveable!

We were thrilled with the care and attention our cats received. The vet spent a lot of time with us, discussing our cats'health, rabies and distemper schedule, and specialized food to help keep one cat's weight under control. We really appreciated the individualized attention. We highly recommend Canyon Crossroads!

Difficult case with excellent outcome. Outstanding diagnostic skills. Very reasonable costs despite the complicated case.

They're good. I only have the one vet. I cannot compare them to somebody else. We go to them. They have given us good service.

Took cat from me and attempted to install catheter. Cat resisted and exhausted herself on the table as I watched in horror. The procedure was bogus. Dying cats should get a sedative and not have to put up with a painful procedure. My cat did not deserve to die like that...

I have 3 dogs and 1 cat that I have been taking to Canyon Crossroads for 4 years. The service has ranged from good to poor. We have dealt with Dr. Counts, Dr. Graham, Dr. McKinstry, and Dr. Mazzolini. The only Dr. to give consistent care was Dr. Mazzolini. I have never been recognized or acknowledged as a regular client even though I am usually in once a month for food or medicine. My last experience was frustrating and disappointing, and occurred trying to deal with a terminally ill pet. Miscommunication and unprofessional behavior by 2 of the Dr.'s and some of the techs was the last straw. We went to Canyon Crossroads because of its location, it is one of the few clinics in the East Mountains. However, I will find a cleaner, more professional and empathetic Vet in Albuquerque for future health care.

Everyone at canyon crossroads, from the women at the front desk, to the vet tech, to Dr. true, was terrific. When I called to say that i was bringing Smokey in a day early because he seemed to be getting worse I was assured that they'd work us in. We were seen in good time as walk-ins, Smokey was handled very gently by the vet tech and by the vet. All relevant questions were asked, possibilities were explained, as were all procedures, along with the costs, prior to treatment. Dr. Ballas went over the pros and cons of each recommended test, allowing me to make informed decisions overall. When I became emotional due to having to leave Smokey there on an iv for the afternoon, she was both understanding and reassuring. When I picked Smokey up I was given oral medications and special food for him, along with detailed instructions for each. I was also given specific signs to watch for through the night that would mean Smokey needed to come back for in-house care.
