Brush Up Interior Painting

Due to some construction delays our time schedule had to be adjusted and Tom was great in being flexible. We have used Brush Up Paint twice now to do our entire house. The guys are great, on time and work hard. They truly enjoy what they do, and therefore excellent results follow. They are highly professional and I would absolutely use them again.

These guys are the best. Tom and his son David are extremely professional. I have used them three times now over the course of 10-15 years and they are reliable, experienced, skilled and pleasant to deal with. Prices are reasonable for the high quality result achieved.

The crew was punctual, courteous. The young men were very respectful. When they left each you would never know they were here. So neat and clean. I really appreciated the service provided. Will definitely recommend this company to friends and family. Will use them again.

They recently painted the interior walls and trim of our home and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. They always arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. They helped move heavier furniture and removed blinds and put everything back in place as each area was finished. They were friendly, but very professional, courteous, neat, and trustworthy, and we felt very comfortable having them in our home. When it comes to painting, we wouldn't think of using anyone but Tom and his remarkable crew.

This review is long overdue. We hired Tom and his crew to paint every surface of the inside of our home (ceilings, walls, trim) as well as our interior garage, exterior garage doors and some exterior trim. Not only did we thoroughly enjoy meeting and getting to know Tom, but we also really enjoyed the crew that he had out at our house. More importantly, they were professional, trustworthy, had a great attention to detail, and helped our fixer-upper home look outstanding. I hope they stay in business at least as long as I'm alive, but I will be going to them for my future painting needs, and of course, recommend them highly.

Tom and his guys did an excellent job. I was I need of quality, trustworthy painters very quickly and Brush Up exceeded my expectations. I met with Tom and described the job and the time frame I needed it completed. They were able to squeeze me in and complete the job on time, in a quality fashion and for a reasonable price. I trusted Tom and his guys and was able to leave a key with them to work when I was unable to be at the home. They did an excellent job protecting the floors, cleaning up, and securing the home when they were done. I would definitely recommend Brush Up painting and plan to use them again.

Excellent! Tom Armijo has a first class, professionally run company. The crew were on time, polite, kind, courteous and upbeat and finished ahead of schedule. The job turned out beautiful! No paint on the floors or fixtures and they did a great job of cleaning up. They were extremely neat and detailed. Everyone of the guys made us feel safe, something that was very important to me. I was a little sad when they were leaving. What a great experience!

The owner, Tom Armijo, met with us twice before painting started -- once to meet us and collect data for a quote, and once to go over the planned work just before it started. His crew arrived on time every day, and made quick progress. They kept us informed about their planned work every day, and they cleaned up after themselves impeccably every evening before they left. They were friendly and helpful. They finished ahead of schedule and even gave us a refund for using less paint than they anticipated. The work performed and the professionalism of the team far exceeded what I expected. It is difficult to write everything that we were happy with, but will try. As you know a paint job this large can be an inconvenience but at no time did we feel like it was a burden on getting this work done. It went WAY BETTER than we had anticipated. My wife was concerned, but by the end she was thrilled and very, very happy. Paint Job - Excellent. Looks great. No spots, no drips, fixed everything. The walls look great, the ceilings look great, the baseboards look great and the doors look great. The job took almost 8 business days and the team made sure that at the end of the day the equipments was stored in a way not to impede on our daily living in the house. They went over each room to ensure everything was covered and Tom, the owner, came by several times to check the work and our satisfaction. The job they did was as if they were painting their own house. They ensured all details were hit. They took down blinds and put them back up. They took down heater vents and put new one's up for us. Moved all the furniture. Bottom line, for us it was easy! Based on the work they did we are having them come back out to do our outside doors and will probably have them work on my garage as well. Painting Team - Not only was the job well done, the guys who worked on our house were very professional. Not just about the job but also just ensuring we were happy. They kept telling us to look at everything and ensured we were happy and if not they would fix something. I had a hard time finding problems, but if a spot was missed they fixed it. They worked together as a team, as if they had been working together for years. They were friendly. And it seemed to us they really enjoyed doing their work and doing a good job. Basically, you could tell they took pride in their job. I basically could go on and on and on regarding the job they did. I would recommend Brush Up Interior Painting anytime and I would not hesitate to use them again!

From the initial contact, to the promptness of the estimate to the on-site services (including meticulous clean up), it was a pleasure to do business with this company. Owner Tom personally came on the first day of work (prompt arrival) to introduce each of his crew members by name and came at the end of the job (before asking for payment) to make sure I was pleased. Each of his workers was exceptionally polite, thanked me for the business and the whole job was done neatly and professionally: two coats on every wall, clean crisp color transitions around each of my accent walls and no slop or spills on any of my floors or furniture. This is the best experience I have ever had with painters and I would highly recommend them. I believe they were competitively priced (lower than the other bid I received) but it would have been worth it to pay more had they been a little higher as they deliver real value.

The ramada needed to be stained ALL OVER... which meant removing the cover, staining, and then replacing the cover.... not a problem for Tom. He knows what to do and how to do it... ask him to look at the problem and you will get his honest answer.

I spoke to Tom, the owner, to explain what I needed done. We set up a time to look at the job. He arrived on time and was both friendly and professional. He emailed me a quote later that evening. I called him the next day to set up a time to begin work. The workers arrived on time and got to work immediately. They were extremely careful moving furniture on my new wood floors. Did a great job and finished on time. I would highly recommend Brush Up and would definitely use them again when needed.

Best painting crew I've ever experienced. The teams' professionalism, punctuality, courtesy, trustworthiness, and ESPECIALLY the PRECISION of their painting skills far exceeded my expectations. Our home has many bull-nose corners (which are incredibly difficult to paint). But, these guys were masters and painted the lines with razor sharpness. They did a truly beautiful job, our home looks fantastic, and I am confident we will enjoy their work for years to come.

This was our second time with Brush Up; they painted our interior rooms before we moved into this house. 

Tom came promptly to look over the job and provide an estimate.  The two painters who came to do the job were pleasant, courteous and very neat, plus our dog loved them.  They helped us move things; nothing was ever a problem to them.  The work was almost all detail: a kitchen with multiple cabinets and windows involving hand brushwork.  It was beautifully done, with new caulking to match along counter tops.  Old, dark-stained wood bathroom cabinets were absolutely transformed with their white paint.  This involved removing all doors & drawers, which once painted were meticulously reinstalled.  They also did a bath and walk-in closet, and touched up a wall where new windows and drywall were installed.

I cannot recommend Brush Up highly enough. 

Tom kept all appointments as promised.  He was knowledgable, candid, and helpful in discussing options.  His price was competitive with other bids we received (total of 4).  He did the work when he said he would and showed up at our home on the day the work started to instruct his crew on the work to be done and to confirm work specifications with us.  His crew was polite, respectful, skilled and careful.  Tom and his crew are a rarity these days--honest,  high quality work, reasonably priced, and completely reliable.  We are extremely pleased with the work he did for us.  Highly recommended!

This has been an excellent experience.  Tom, the owner, was very accommodating about my work schedule.  The painters finished the entire interior of  the house in five days.  The work included drywall repair, texture and trim as well as painting.  The house looks new!   Painting can be very messy but not with Brush Up.  They were prompt, made sure the disruption was minimal and made sure they cleaned up every day.
