Electrical Service
This small home that we bought in Mimbres NM had been empty for over a year. It had to be inspected by a licensed electrician and, if approved, by a state inspector. I called Gila Electric in Silver City NM and was assured they could and would do the job, it would take approximately two weeks. It took two months. Some of the delay was unavoidable as they also had to work with PNM, but most of the time no one went to the house. I would call Gila Electric and get a variety of excuses. Sometimes I would call from the house and be assured they were there. Since I was there it was obvious they weren't . Without electricity it was impossible to have anything else done. When it finally was finished no one called to tell me. We found out by accident.
