The work was excellent, he did a great job, it was on time, and I was very pleased with his work. I got several roofers for the job but he was the only one who really got up on the roof and did the measurements and gone out and provided me a written estimate, that is why he got the job.

We shopped around and talked with three or people that came out and gave us estimates. I would not hesitate to tell people who did our roof, I was happy with them, and they performed the way we expected them to. If needed, I would use them again in the future.

I have never met a professional as great as this guy. Everything he did was above and beyond. He cleaned up after the work. Everything about him was wonderful. I use him for all repairs that I have now! If somebody wants a contractor that they don't have to worry about, then he is the guy to call. He builds very nice homes, and my job was small compared to those. He treated me the same as he would a 2 million dollar project.

This is our second, 'vacation' home where we hope to retire. We we originally satisfied with the final result, at first glance, it's very attractive. The completion of the home took 8 months longer than we were told it would, probably because we were not 'on site' but 2000 miles away most of the time! This December, we drove out to spend the winter, and were amazed to find that the house had been flooded. We have a water tank which had about 1,000 gal. in it. A pipe had broken inside an outside wall, this water came in under kitchen cabinets and flooded the house. The outside stucco had to be sawed open which revealed a water pipe leading NOWHERE, was uninsulated, and had burst even though the heat was on in the house. Builder came out to inspect, said that was a and quot;usualand quot; occurance, could not say why the pipe was there, connected to nothing. Still waiting (this is February) to have him correct the problem and repair the stucco work. The house is built on a slab, we have noticed that woodwork close to the floor is developing dry rot; apparently there is not a vapor barrier over the slab for protection. That problem has not been addressed by the builder. Gas fireplace has never worked properly and is still not fixed, although someone was sent out twice to get it working. Storm doors installed by the builder do not fit properly, they have 1 inch gaps open at the bottom which let in air and water. Although we are in contact with the builder at present, none of these issues have been fixed.

Update: We did contact builder about putting on outside storm doors to protect wood atrium doors which were splintering from the strong NM sun. His representative contacted us soon after and gave us several choices. Although we were not on the property at the time, builder did come and install the doors, which are good looking and protect the wood. We have not had a recurrence of frozen pipes,so that problem has been fixed. Gas fireplace still has not been fixed, I guess we will have to replace it ourselves. All in all, though, I do appreciate the time builder took with us, and the home is very attractive.
