Santa Feans--Prepare to have your expectations exceeded! Alan Brown of The Hook Up showed up on time and took our home theater from good to great in a couple hours. Now we have a system with much better sound quality, and he patiently gave us a tutorial so we could understand how easy everything was to use. There's no sense in dinking around with electronics yourself when you can just call The Hook Up.

I contacted Alan Brown from The Hook Up to replace an aging speaker in my system and replace an older Harmony remote with a new one. He came to my home to evaluate my current system. My 15 year old center speaker had lost its vibrancy and my 7 year old Harmony remote had some keys that were working intermittently. He evaluated all of my components and agreed only the center speaker and remote needed to be replaced. He emailed me with a quote with choices. I decided to replace the center and front speakers (for aesthetics, I wanted them all to match). I chose Boston Acoustics speakers per Mr. Brown?s suggestion. I chose a Harmony Pro remote because I didn?t want to have to point my remote at the system and because my system is in a console stand. The install went very smoothly, Mr. Brown asked if I wanted specific favorite channels programmed into my remote, I said yes, because from time to time I entertain guests, and it would make finding channels for my guests easy. Since the speaker change, I can hear the voices much more clearly, and I?m getting the hang of using a radio-frequency remote. The favorite channels feature is very cool, I just press a tile with the channel logo and the remote changes the channel. I?m very happy with Mr. Brown?s responsiveness and service and I?m glad he chose Santa Fe as the first city to grow his business to out of Phoenix. I was worried about what to buy and possibly being sold products I didn?t need. I would highly recommend The Hook Up for any audio/video services. Mr. Brown is professional, very easy to work with, patient, extremely knowledgeable and has many years of experience.
