I’m from Albuquerque and have taken my cars to The Auto Angel in Santa Fe for many years because they’ve always been honest and professional. They have over 30 years experience in auto mechanics and provide knowledgeable competent advice about car care and perform services correctly. If they identify an issue or potential issue they notify you with a link that gives you a detailed description of what the concern is and the reason. The explanation includes the estimated time and cost of the repair. This is an excellent method of communication between the mechanic and customer minimizing surprises. If you have further questions, there is always a knowledgeable person available to speak to. For this reason and more, I confidently leave my vehicle with the Auto Angel knowing that my car is receiving the servicing and care to continue running at its best. During this very concerning COVID time, they also take the time to sanitize your car when you get there and when you pick it up. My husband left his vehicle at a large dealership in Albuquerque for warranty work and they never did sanitize the vehicle. The Auto Angel is taking all precautions and following the mandated protocols in an attempt to protect the customer and employees. Keep up the good work!

After arguing with them for half an hour they agreed to fix the hose, but I still had to pay for the part. They wanted to charge me 90 for a part that cost less than 30. I won't go.

They are so awesome! I was going on a long road trip and wanted to make sure everything was going to be ok. They fit me in before I was set to go, checked over everything gave me a few recommendations. They are honest and very friendly!

We moved to the Santa Fe area in 2013. I asked my in-laws who they would recommend for auto service on my family's mini-van and station wagon. Without any hesitation, they recommended we go visit Gabriel at the Auto Angel. Now I've lived in a number of different cities. (I'm a government employee, and I have to move frequently for my job). So, I've had experience moving to a new town and having to find a mechanic I can trust. The Auto Angel shop is one of the very best in New Mexico. Period. They are honest, and they do good work. Now, their prices may be a bit higher than some other garages, but frankly I felt it was so worth it to pay a bit more, but know that I was getting the problem fixed and fixed RIGHT.
What's really great about their shop is they will do a free evaluation on your car/truck, and all they ask in return is that you bring in a reasonable donation for a local food bank. 
They are busy, so you have to plan ahead, but when you do get your car / truck serviced, you can be confident they are going to do an excellent job at a fair and reasonable price, and you are NOT going to get screwed.

Gabriel is honest and trustworthy. We've never ever had a and quot;newand quot; problem crop up after a service nor have we ever experienced receiving a list of additional work deemed necessary. Whatever mechanical problem any of our vehicles is having, it gets fixed right the first time. I highly recommend the Auto Angel.

They are very thorough and high integrity. They don't overdo like a lot of mechanics. They did what needed to be done and they saved me money. I had three bids for a repair and they were 1/3 of the highest bid and 1/2 of the second bid. They actually did more work for the money so it was high value for what I paid.
