SpinDoc

I had been looking at their offerings of bikes off-and-on for about 3 years until I was here in NM long enough to buy a bike and use it. I ride a lot back East, but road conditions are very different here, and they call for different kinds of bikes. Kirk, Chandler, Martand iacute;n and Colin each at one point or another showed me the various options and gave good advice about local riding conditions. They carry a variety of bikes, but one of their specialities are Redline bikes (a solidly-built American-made brand).
Once I made my selection, a 2012 Redline Metro Sport, they took detailed measurements of my arms, legs, etc. so that they could get the right frame size and handlebars. They had me test-ride it around for a bit and reminded to come back after the and quot;breaking-inand quot; period to adjust cables. They also sent me a follow-up letter with tips on maintenance. The staff are skilled and professional.
IMPORTANT: Spin Doc is no longer at 7 Caliente (Eldorado shopping center), they relocated about a half-mile north to 628 Old Las Vegas Highway at the intersection with Rt. 285. It is a lot easier to find and to get in and out of their parking at the new location. Do note, though that they are closed Mondays. Spin Doc is out in the countryside, not in downtown Santa Fe, but it is worth the relatively short trip out here.
They also offer spinning classes, but I have not used this service.

Kirk helped fit the new road bike and he and Chandler were the reason I decided to purchase the new bicycle from Spindoc. Also, they're experienced cyclists as well as very good people. Spin classes were challenging, as they should be. I'd recommend Spindoc to anyone wishing to begin or continue cycling.

They did a great job. They were considerate with cost and came in under budget. The bike looks brand new. He is close by my home and is very convenient to get to.
