Work was fine but it was like pulling teeth to get him to do the work. He told me it would take about 4 days to do the job and it took him over 3 weeks......AND he still didn't do the finish work as he promised. This was for a tiny rental, and I actually LOST money since I couldn't rent the place until the work was done. I had to call him repeatedly to REMIND him that he needed to finish the job. It was an extremely stressful situation for me. He did have some personal problems in the middle of it all, but that should have only delayed the job a few days......not a whole month! I would NEVER recommend him.

Robert showed up when he said he would and got right to work. Disposal works great now. I will definitely use Robert again when I need plumbing or handyman work.

Robert was a terrific help to us at our condo in Santa Fe. We had a lightning strike that apparently blew out the ceiling fan, and two tv's. He went over multiple times and checked on them for us, and was able to resuscitate the ceiling fan, and installed and got up and running both tv's. His price was very fair and we will definitely use his services again.

I?m kind of a do-it-yourselfer but was having trouble installing a new faucet assembly correctly. It kept leaking on me.
So I joined Angie?s List and called the plumbing company in Santa Fe with the highest number of good reviews. They wanted $150 just to give me an ESTIMATE! I was shocked! And the $150 wouldn?t even go toward the job! Well, I?m not rich so I tried to find someone more down-to-earth. I called Robert Trujillo and he answered right away and came and installed the faucet that day. It?s been about 3 weeks and no leaks. And the best part? He did it all for $50! (labor only?I already had the parts).
Recently I had another problem?glass in my garbage disposal. I called him and he gave me a couple minutes of advice over the phone and I fixed the problem myself. On top of being a NICE GUY, he?s also a MASTER PLUMBER with tons of experience. So if you?re rich and don?t know what you?re doing?call the first plumber on this list and give him carte blanche. If you?d prefer a down-to-earth plumber at a reasonable price?CALL ROBERT TRUJILLO.

Robert was very prompt and thorough. Caulked sink, tested every thing and cleaned up.

Came into the house with all the necessary tools. Didn't have to "go back to the truck."

Did not return to finish the job as promised

I called him Tuesday and Wednesday he came by to give me an estimate. He was running a bit late but he called ahead and let me know he'd be late. He gave me an estimate and came the next day and fixed it and cleaned it all up. Finally our walls are sealed (we think mice were getting in here during the winter). It was a tricky project because there were pipes and faucet handles to cut the dry wall around, but it looks very professionally and well sealed.

Robert came out right away. Job wasn't big but it had a few minor problems. He worked on it till it was solved. Very helpful and reasonable.

He is very tenacious. He just worked until he got it done. He was working by himself. He got it done and he didn't whine, and he came back and finished the next day like he said he would. He was very polite and punctual. He is just a very nice man.

I called Robert to help me get a large all-plastic evaporative cooler up onto my roof to install in an upstairs bedroom window. He returned my call promptly, made an appointment to view the job and called before stopping by. He gave a fair estimate, so I hired him, based on positive AL reviews. The job was trickier than it appeared, as we had to take the cooler apart to make some adjustments and line up some of the parts. We both worked on the installation, after he hooked up the plumbing. He worked promptly and professionally and was very pleasant to deal with. He stuck to his estimate and did a good job.
The cooler had some small leaks I tried to fix myself, but I wound up rotating the float and had to call Robert to help open the cooler and readjust it. Unfortunately, the float was bent and soon broke, so I sent him to get a new one. Within half an hour, everything was working properly. In every respect, Robert was professional and efficient, and I plan to use his services again.

Contacted Trujillo who returned my call immediately. He came by my house to look at the job. The next day, he went to the hardward store to pick up the new toilet and doors I had purchased. They did not fit in my car. He unloaded the items and took out the old toilet to start with. Since it had been rather poorly installed, some tile and fix-up work was needed before installing the new toilet. He left to get tools and supplies and returned the following day. Trujillo continued to come and go for 2-4 hours of work over a period of 4 days, and the three items were eventually installed and work well. He is very polite and considerate and has much general knowledge in addition to plumbing knowledge. If you are in a big rush, you may not warm up to the manana working style of this man. Generally, though, that seems to be the style of many people here and I was OK with it because I am doing many other fix-ups in the house and was easily at hand here in the house round the clock. I don't believe I would hire him again because I have a deadline on home fix-up and would have preferred that the work be done in 1 or 2 days at most. I had to turn my attention to lower priority tasks to stay out of his work area.

He does good work. I've been using him for years. I will use his services again in the future.
