During the home inspection we learned that Peter had over 30 years experience as a contractor with substantial expertise in working on old adobes. At that time in his business he was only taking on 2 or 3 contracting projects a year, but agreed to work with us when we purchased the house. Over the next 11 months, Peter served as our contractor consultant hiring the crew of workmen (who were all superb in their respective areas of work and expertise), and supervising every aspect and detail of the extensive renovation we did to the property. Peter was particularly attuned to and conscientious about retaining or restoring all of the original features of a true adobe house. What could have been a nightmare trying to undertake and manage an extensive renovation from the other side of the country, was instead a miracle under Peter's direction. He was in constant contact with us keeping us apprised of the progress, every unexpected and unplanned for "surprise" that was unearthed during the gutting process, and when we were needed onsite for decisions. We unequivocally recommend Peter as a person of the highest integrity and honesty with an incredible work ethic not often found these days. On top of that, he's a darn nice guy too! He went out of his way on our many trips out here during the 11 months of renovation to introduce us to Santa Fe so that by the time we finally moved here, it already felt like home!
