Medlin Mechanical

On a recent Friday our boiler went on the blink.  No heat.  No hot
water.  I called Medlin Mechanical.  We had called them once before
for some faucet repairs based on a referral from a friend.  Great
experience.  Jobs done quickly and competently and for a very fair price
by Joel who could not have been nicer.
Back to the furnace problem.  The day I called, I spoke with Trey, the owner, and
asked him if he could come by.
He explained that he had a customer that had a major water leak, i.e. water
running down his driveway and was waiting for a backhoe to show up so the leak
could be stopped and repair could begin.  He added he was shorthanded that
day but would do his best to come by.
He did come by.  That morning.  Took the time to isolate the problem.
Drive to his supplier for a replacement part.  Return and fix the
furnace.  Sounds simple unless you?re shorthanded that day and other
pre-scheduled customers are having problems like a driveway being washed away.
Point is, he made the right choices for this customer even though it made his day far
more challenging.
Base on our experience, this is a great company with good people who know what they?re
doing and get it done.

We have used him 10 years. He is very honest and does everything up to code. He comes in he is cheerful, he was trained in New England in a proper plumbing training school. He has also been our contractor for two bathroom renovations.

He’s always been very fair priced and decent. He does stuff strictly to code. He uses good material, he cares about his work, and he cleans up.

Trey worked on my boiler five years ago and did an excellent job.  His prices have increased to $120/hr. plus $60 for travel.

The job went smoothly and was performed in a timely manner. Trey Medlin is honest, diligent and a true professional. We highly recommend his services.

I have used their services before. Everything went outstanding. They were the best plumbers that I have ever used and I have been in the construction business for 30 years. They are not cheap by the hour but they are quick and efficient as opposed to slow and sloppy so they actually end up saving you money. They leave no mess anywhere. There was a small matter with matching the paint and the guy came back on a Saturday on his own time to match it.
