They arrived 30 minutes late (they did call and say they would be 15 minutes late). I showed them the items to be moved, maybe a single truck load, two at most. Five minutes after they started, they got mad at an imagined slight and decided to leave. We had been completely cordial up to that point. I encouraged them to stay and work for the time I had contracted. They wanted to come back the next day, but I had the truck reserved for one day only, and had already started moving a saltwater fish tank that needed to be finished that day. I got my son to talk to them and he was able to convince them to move three items, two of which were the fish tank and cabinet. My son had to help them move all three items. They worked for half an hour total, then wanted me to give them the payment code for two hours of work. They harassed me, threatened calling the police, argued loudly in the street in front of my new neighbors, etc. I finally gave them the code, but that was a mistake on my part. Now I have little recourse against them. I'm not sure exactly what the real problem was. It could have been that they had another job to go to, or that they felt they weren't up to the job at my site, or perhaps this is their personality. At any rate, I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING JOHN'S MOVING ANGELS FOR ANY PURPOSE. WORST and quot;PROFESSIONALand quot; I'VE DEALT WITH IN 20 YEARS.

They were unbelievable. I expected them to take more than 2 hours. This stuff was very heavy and antiques. They had all the stuff loaded, padded and secured with the tie downs and straps I supplied in less than an hour !!! Everything made it to the destination 1,000 miles away without a scratch or even shifting a little bit.

They are a local company. They did a lot of things that were last minute and they cheerfully just went ahead and did them. They were very professional, especially John, the owner. I ended up at the last minute not having everything packed and not knowing that, they came in and spent the day packing. They were very willing to adapt themselves to what we needed. They were very, very pleasant. John worked for movers before and this is his own business now. He is very, very professional and very good at what he did.
