Jackalope

Overall this is a very enjoyable store to visit. The negative things are: 1) you could lose a wheel cover in one of the pot holes in the parking area, 2) the merchandise is somewhat overpriced given that most of it can be purchased from cluttered Mexican import stores in smaller towns a lot cheaper and 3) during 3 out of the 4 visits I have made recently they have apparently been understaffed at the checkout counter. On the plus side, the store smells amazing, there is a great selection of products, except during the holidays when they seem to run low and don't replenish the shelves, and you are pretty much guaranteed to find a gift that your loved one will like. Signing up for emails and discounts on their website has so far produced zero results and I have never even received so much as a confirmation email, let alone a coupon in the mail. On one visit the checkout person asked me if I was part of the Jackalope rewards program. When I said no, she offered no further information and trying to find out about such a program online proved fruitless. It would also be great to be able to buy gift cards online but as of today that is not an option. All in all, it's a nice store, typically Santa Fe as is the clientele and if they only lowered their prices a little it would almost be perfect.
