charlie drysdale is a real pro.   he is responsive to calls,  arrives promptly,  is cordial and neat.  
the bottom line....HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING.   that is a rarity nowadays.   two thumbs up
for drysdale!

We've used Charlie's services in the past, and we've always had good experiences.  He is very communicative, does a quality job, and is always honest about what is necessary and what is not.  Furthermore, he has fair prices, doesn't charge a travel fee, and has great follow up practices.

The overall experience with Mr. Drysdale was beyond excellence!

Mr. Drysdale was polite and punctual.  He arrived at the set time.  He did the work promptly and didn't stay more than an hour.  He did the work himself.  He did not charge for travel, which several of the other plumbers I contacted did charge fees.  The fee for the service was close to what he quoted over the phone.  I would recommend him to others and would use him again.

Charlie runs his own business, and as he says, he will be the one and only person who shows up. He looked at our faucet and explained as long as he had the part available, it should not be a problem to fix. Luckily, he did have the part available. While he was visiting our home, we had him look at our old boiler and water heater. We told him we were concerned about them and asked if he would replace them. He looked at our boiler and said it was a good brand. Charlie said he has seen boilers twice as old as ours working great. He did recommend de-rating the boiler which he did in about 20 minutes. Please note that this is the opposite experience that we had with Cartwrights (they said they could not de-rate our boiler and recommended we purchase a new one). He did say that he does not replace water heaters, but would recommend someone if/when we need a new water heater.

I scheduled an appointment with Charlie for Friday afternoon, but he had a slot earlier in the day so he called to see if he could stop by at 10am; he showed up on time. There were three possible locations the leak could have been coming from (all with different difficulties in replacing). He quickly found and stopped the leak. It was a simple job and he was very efficient and doing it. Though he didn't do general service on my model of boiler, he made some recommendations on who to call. He also told me that my system just needed a general cleaning and not to let anyone tell me that the system needed to be replaced. Specifically he said that plumbers in this town like to convince their clients that they need to replace things when only small cleanings maintenance is needed. I appreciated that candor. I also appreciated that he was talking to me the whole time about what he was working on. He knew his stuff and he was happy to teach me a few things. He also knew what his limitations were and what he could and couldn't do. I respect that. I'd definitely call him again for work.

He is the best. He is professional, timely and an expert in his field. We do not let anybody else touch our plumbing or heating but him. We would highly recommend him.
