Computer Repair
One of the technicians came out last week. He cleaned up the Windows machine and made it run quite a bit faster, not quite as fast as when I got it, but much faster than it was. The tech explained that the reason it will not be as fast as when it was new was due to the increased size of the system from all the updates from Microsoft. He did recommend more memory (RAM) and gave me prices. He also set up part of the music system but due to the Think Adobe walls, we needed more equipment. I ordered additional units and had them come back out. Yesterday another tech came out. The office called repeatedly to update me on the status and arrival time. I was not happy that a different tech than initial was going to step in for the other and told him so. He explained that due to their reporting process, he was aware of the situation and went on to explain to me what he would be doing. I was impressed. He went on to finish the installation and even explained that what the audio store had sold me would not work in the intended way and showed me why and how it could be solved.
