Small Appliance Repair
I told them I could only do afternoon for installation. They called about 8:30 am and said they were coming at 9:00 am, so I had to reschedule. When they did come they didn't understand how to install the oven properly, so I had to reschedule again. Price seemed reasonable, but I can't recommend their service.

Small Appliance Repair
The range-top microwave oven bequeathed to us by our house's previous owners turned out to have been partly devoured by rodents. (They actually gnawed off some of the aluminum fan blades and the power cord. Impressive.)
So, we looked around Santa Fe, and found Builder's Source. I forget how we found them, Yellow Pages, possibly.
Anyhow, we visited their store on Pacheco, and we were promptly greeted by Erick Ornelas, who showed us the various options and who took the time to explain them to us. He found us a very good deal on a GE model and arranged for it to be installed about a week later.
The installation crew, Daniel and Michael ("Certified Install" from Albuquerque) showed up about a week later and installed the oven. This was no ordinary install. The previous owners had evidently bought their oven and then either installed it themselves or hired someone local to do so. As a result, the duct linkage that linked the oven outflow to the chimney duct was, well let's just say idiosyncratically-designed. I had tried to remove it previously to investigate the rodent activity but been unable to remove it. Daniel and Michael went to work, got it out, and put in a new duct connector. They were at it for several hours and it was clearly very difficult work, but they remained in good spirits and professional throughout.
The oven has been in place and working perfectly for about a month now.

Small Appliance Repair
I called Bosch Customer Service regarding a Safety Notice on a Bosch dishwasher. They confirmed that my dishwasher has a defective control board and must be repaired and would be repaired under warranty because of the Safety Notice. They provided me with an Authorization # and recommended I call Builders Source or ABD Appliance Repair to set up a repair date. I called Builders Source and gave them the authorization #. Builders Source called back later and told me that the control board is not available so they cannot perform a repair. I called Bosch Customer Service and informed them of what Builders Source told me. Bosch confirmed that the circuit board is available and recommended that I call a different warranty service provider, which I did.
