They provided a great roof and it has held up great. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. They listened to us and allow us to slightly slope our roof. We had a little repair needed about 5 months after they finished and they came right over and fixed it.

Could not have gone better. Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing did an exceptional job at a fair price.

AFTER the price was set, then they said that there would be ad additional  3% surcharge if I wanted to use a credit card, for the 50% downpayment.  I said that that was a deal-breaker, because the cost was already very high. The surcharge was waived, but then when they wanted the last half of the payment, they tried to add the 3% to THAT payment, which I again refused saying that the sales person had agreed to waive this charge.

When the sales person was at my home he gave me a start date.  The day before the job was to start, I called to find out what time they would be here.  I found out that I was not on the schedule for the date promised.

I am now having a problem with the an area where the drainage system joins the roof, and the person who came out said it was not part of the job (Not true) and there would be a separate charge if I wanted it repaired. He only spent a few minutes looking at the problem, saying he had a family graduation to get to. I am still planning to contact the company again to see if I can get satisfaction, but I would certainly not give them another dime.

The fault here is mine - the customer's - for not understanding exactly what was in the quote for square footage versus the oral representations of the salesman, and ignorantly signing the contract.  Expectations were to paint a  protective coating on the metal roof of my house - not a large roof, about 1400 square feet - which was set for a one full day job, at a cost of $3,200.  Seemed reasonable.  Paid a $1,500 deposit. Instead, the result was $3,200 for less than a 10 x 10 foot paint job over several small rust spots. Job took one half hour and the check for the balance due was demanded on the spot.  I am a totally disabled Viet Nam veteran and cannot afford this sort of extremely expensive lesson or to be taken advantage of in this fashion, and neither can you.  Caveat Emptor.

It was okay. It was fine. There was no problem. He came out and fixed it. He did the job and I was willing to pay for it. The price should be okay. The quality of work was very good.

They were very professional and prompt from day 1. The price was what I expected and the service men who came out to do the work
even did a few other things extra. I was very, very happy with the work and the company. I will refer them to everyone who needs a roofer.

They were pretty good. They were kind of pricey but very good. They did a pretty good job. They were very quick. I thought they were very meticulous about rules and regulations. They promised a certain day and they were there on that day. They were not the least expensive in Santa Fe but they certainly were considered the best.

I have tried for 3 weeks to get an answer from them about when they perform this job. They give me the run around - telling me they will call me back after a scheduling meeting. They never call me back and I can't get my deposit back from them either,

It was terrific. My husband thinks it's beautiful. They left it neat as a pin. They came exactly when they said they would and did the work quickly.

Work went well, very happy.  Easy to work with. They show up on time, they  communicated with us. Asked for our input when needed. The head guy introduced himself.   Cleaned up after  themselves.  Everything went smooth. No surprizes. They got work permits as required.  No pressure salesman.  Work completed on time.   Roof looks great.  New Canales work great.
We had  5 roofing companies here for estimates. Should have called This company first.   All these roofers had much varied ideas about what we should do and not do with this roof. And many did not want to do the whole job.  Some  did not want to get permits.  We told all of  them all we wanted an entire new roof, in part because we were getting new stucco, even though we knew the roof was not in desperate need .  But, we also had a drainage problem on our balcony.  Brian Mc Partlon was the only company who listened about the balcony , and had solution that would work. They were also the only company who was willing to custom make and replace 2 canales which we really needed as they were rotten.  They did not try to talk out of what we wanted. They are a professional crew.   Call them first.

They came when they said they would to do the estimate, measure for material and do the work. They said it would take two days and it did. They did not create a mess during the prokect and cleaned up competely afterward.

The last one was completed in Nov. 2006. In Dec. 2006, all of the roofs leaked. Throughout all of 2007, I tried to get McPartlon Roofing to fix the roofs. He only put on little patches but it kept leaking. We had massive water leaks and mold growth. Since he did not honor the warranty, he acknowledged the damage and told me to contact his insurance company. I had to pay out of pocket to have the house restored and have 3 new roofs put on. The restoration went on throughout all of 2007 and into 2008. I tried to get resolution thru a private attorney dealing with McPartlon Roofing, his lawyers, and his insurance company. We scheduled numerous meetings and they would cancel the night before. My attorney told me they had no intention of settling. I've tried other avenues and they do not respond. It cost $108,000 to reroof and the restoration. The company is insured but you as an individual are not and the insurance company will walk if there are major problems. I hired another company to tear off the work he did we found that he did not do what was in the contract. On one of the roofs he was supposed to tear off the old roof and install slope system but he didn't and charged me for it.

We had serious leaks in the roof [water literally pouring in] when it rained heavily while the work was being done, despite the company assuring us that they had taken all proper precautions against rain. They did offer to pay for any damage, though.

Bad job. In the process, the roofing crew shredded the existing electrical lines, did not even check to see if the house had power, installed the new roof on top of the ruined lines, and then left the job. When the damage (2/3rds of the house was left without power) was discovered, Brian McPartlon Roofing had to send an electrician to solve the problem, which was so extensive it took three days and two workers to fix it. They had to spend a couple grand to cover themselves for poor workmanship. Further poor workmanship included a broken light fixture inside the house they did not replace, water damage from rain that got in and damaged carpet and furniture, and extensive grit and debris throughout the house for which they claimed no responsibility, stonewalling remediation of interior damage to said property. Bad roofer. Bad ethical practices. I'd think long and hard before ever using this roofer. Go elsewhere.
