Great experience with American Rain Gutters! Ken will listen carefully to your concerns and will use premium materials to do the job. Professional installation with pride of craftsmanship and visual appeal. Reasonably priced considering the high level of quality. Ken and Juan do awesome work, highly recommended, would hire again!

Ken did an outstanding job. He fabricated a gutter and installed it to fix our problem. Ken is extremely professional, skilled and very fair in his pricing.

Ken was great to work with. Good communication, on time, flexible. He was really good about working around a changing schedule. I've worked in the trades for 36 years and I know how rare it is to find someone who does what they say they will. On time. On budget. I would work with Ken again.

I called Ken in May for an estimate on installing rain gutters. I chose his company after reading reviews on Angie's List. After leaving a message, he called back that same evening, and said he doesn't come up to our area (40 miles away) too often, but would call me later on to schedule a free estimate. I called 3 other rain gutter installers, and didn't get a call back from ANY of the others!! So, I was quite happy when Ken called a month later (in June...this is his side business, i.e. not a full-time contractor) and said he could finally give me an estimate.
He showed up promptly for the estimate, spent quite a bit of time looking over the exterior, was not rushed at all, had samples of the high quality galvanized steel gutters and elbows, and a neat color card to match the exiting metal flashing and stucco. I wasn't really sure what I wanted, exactly, and Ken offered several suggestions that I hadn't thought of. It was a few days before I received the written estimate via email. I called him the day after receiving the estimate, and we scheduled to have the work performed the following week.
I thought he would call me the night before to confirm, but he didn't, and showed up around 7am on the scheduled date while we were eating breakfast. He brought his helper, John with him, and they got right to work!
It was an all-day job, and they brought their own lunch to eat onsite. They cleaned up very nicely (I only found 1 scrap of metal, and a few screws on the ground).
While they were working on our house, my neighbors stopped by and wanted to get an estimate from Ken for their 2 houses! (They had a similar experience...calling several companies for an estimate, and never getting a call back.) Ken and John were very gracious to my neighbors, and I can see why they don't have to advertise: homeowners are thrilled to find a good contractor and and quot;word of mouthand quot; is the BEST advertising!
It rained 2 days later, and the gutters worked perfectly!
(By the way, Angie's List actually called me on the phone while Ken was doing his work, and asked me to write up my experience. I asked Ken if that was OK, he said 'yes', so this is my first posting on Angie's List.)

Blocked all canali on home and garage and diverted runoff to four separate containment tanks and one underground cistern. Dealt easily and in good humor with a work change order. Very friendly and efficient people.

We have a lot of roof heading in many directions. The old rain gutters had been damaged from snow sliding down the steep pitched roofs and ripping them off. One side of the house had water damage caused by the absence of gutters. Ken was patient and examined the roof thoroughly. He explained our options with both gutters and snow guards. The gutters are directed into our cisterns for watering the garden in the summer. And the snow guards look fine - we are anxious for our first snow to see how they work! Ken was professional, on-time, and did great work.

Ken was pleasant and professional. He obviously cared about this work and stood behind it.

The work was done last year and a heavy wind ripped some of the guards loose this last winter. Ken secured and checked all the guards, so hopefully they will remain pin place in other heavy winds.
