Auto Service
We got a sudden metallic banging in our jeep liberty engine. We were afraid we were goign to have to replace the entire engine, and feared what a mechanic would try to sell us. But we went to Solo on the recommendation of my husband's co-worker.
We took it in and told him we wouldn't be able to pay for a few weeks because we were between paychecks. They said that was alright, they would look and see what was wrong. They called us back the next day to tell us they had looked but hadn't found the problem yet, the would call as soon as they did. We got another call the next day explaining it was the rocker arm. We were quoted a price of $500 for parts and labor. Great, less than we feared. We again reminded him it wouldn't be til next pay that we could pay him.
A few days later we got a call to tell us our vehicle was done, and to just come by and pay/pick it up when we were able. No fuss, no calls hounding us to get in there and pay it.
We picked it up as soon as we could pay, and they were very pleasant. The only reason I gave a B in professionalism is because we had to wait almost half an hour for someone to come in from outside to pay, and that they keep files in a notebook, so we had to wait for him to look through it to get our repair costs together.
Over all they were great though. The repairs were almost $100 less than we were quoted, the jeep runs great now, they were honest and even understood and kind about us having to wait a little while to pay, and they didn't use it as an excuse not to do the work right away, even in their busiest time of year. I will definately take my vehicles back to them.
