Auto Service
My wife wife and I started to notice that the driver side door of her Honda CR-V was more dificult to unlock. It got to the point were it would not unlock or lock from the remote or the electronic switch inside. We had to manualy push or pull out the button. So we decided to take it to Eddie's Auto Repair on a friday morning and spoke with the owner (ironically his name was not Eddie, it was Gonzalo). He told us they were to busy at the moment to look at it. So we had to leave it there for the day so they could take a look at it and call us with the diagnosis. We waited and waited but got no phone call. The next day (saturday) I called to see what was taking so long. Gonzalo said they hadn't looked at it yet but that someone would do it the next day (sunday). Sunday we didn't get a call either, so in the afternoon I called them again. Nobody answered. I drove by the shop, nobody was there. The next day (monday) I called again. He said they had taken off the door panel and found the broken part of the locking mechanism. He told me a new one would be too expensive and that a used one would work just as well, but that it would be dificult to find in the junk yards. He had a trip planned to El Paso the next day (tuesday) to look for other parts and supplies so he would look for my part then. I said that would be fine. Tuesday, again I got no phone call. I called in the afternoon. Gonzalo said he couldn't go that day but he would go the next (wednesday). The same thing happened wednesday, but he assured me he would go the next day (thursday). At this point I told him to just give me my car back and to call me when he had the part. When my wife picked it up the next day, the door wouldn't open at all from the inside. I inmediatly called them and told them it was worse off then how we left it. He told me to bring it back and they would return it to me the way I left it with them. I took it back on Friday and picked it up on Saturday. It was better, but still not how it was before we took it to them. As we were leaving, Gonzalo assured me once again that as soon as he found the right part for my door. To this day, he hasn't called.
