My 1 year old male tabby had been throwing up non stop so we took him in first thing upon opening & were told to have him xrayed. He was xrayed & nothing was found in his stomach, so we went home. He continued throwing up & wasn't eating or drinking water. A couple hours later we went back to CG & explained that something was terribly wrong with my cat. We agreed to have him stay at CG for further tests, blood work to be done. He was tested by blood panel for diabetes, kidney function & other things to find out why he was throwing up & not holding food or water down.
No answer as to what was wrong. I called 4, sometimes 5 times a day, went in there every single day asking for the vet, demanding answers. The vet thought it was diabetes causing him to become so sick. My cat was hospitalized for 4 days with numerous tests being done while he was hooked up to IV fluids for severe dehydration. The last day he had a barium done, without my knowledge & consent because the bill was already $1000 that I was paying daily in cash. CG expected their money daily after each procedure. My limit was $1000, so after the barium test I demanded that my cat be released to me so I could bring him home. I spoke with the vet & she told me that there's no idea what is wrong with my cat. He could have diabetes, or ate something poisonous. He was released to me with a prescription of anti-nausea pills & an IV bag to administer at home. We spent 3 days watching my fully hydrated cat go downhill FAST. I had no answers from the vet as to what was wrong with him. He stopped eating, wouldn't drink water, could not poop & was miserable. I allowed him 4 days of tests, needles & living in a cage at CG away from me & the comforts of his home. 3 days after bringing him home he was to the point where his body was shutting down & slowly he was dying. I contacted another local vet & took him in to be put to sleep. The other vet I contacted who put my cat to sleep told me flat out with just a brief physical exam that my cat had an intestinal blockage & should have had surgery days ago. It was too late. The answers came too late & from another vet hospital who was not CG. CG wasted so much time & money that in the end my cat suffered incredibly until his last day. I will not ever go back to this place again with any of my cats. My biggest mistake was walking through their doors & that is a mistake that I won't ever make again.

Things always go well at this vet. The people are always nice. It's rare that I end up waiting in the waiting area for longer than 5 minutes.
They are always sweet to our animals, and take their time when checking out issues they might have and explaining things to us. The Dr's let us be involved in their treatment options, and never pressure us into making any particular choices. They let us know the best courses of action and we decide together what we can do for the best of our pets.
We've had them in for surgery, shots, check ups, emergencies, we've even boarded our dogs there. They have always treated out animals well. And for every day visits, the prices are very good. We've been able to keep up 3 dogs and 2 cats on a single income, which is pretty darn good! I am grateful, because otherwise, my poor furbabies wouldn't get the care they need.

I called to get my dog in because of on going diarrhea, and they got her in the next day. When we arrived at the office the office staff took care of us right away, and got us into a room and the Vet came in with in a few minutes. She examined my dog, and didn't feel it was necessary to do blood work, because she had just did blood work the last visit, and everything had looked normal. Because we had been traveling with the dog, she felt it was stress induced, so she gave the dog a shot to control the vomiting and start getting her digestive track back to normal. She also sent us home with antibiotic, and two other medicines which seemed to help, because she was back to her normal self within a week. Dr. Holms also had me check back with her at the end of the week to let her know how my dog was doing. They seem very caring, and I feel they take the time with you and your pet.
