We entered into a contract for cable television. When we were moving, we called to get our service moved as well only to find out they don't provide service to our new area. We thought we would be stuck with penalties for ending our contract ahead of time, but they let us out of the contract.

Started out great until I found out it only takes a few days before they say you exceeded your allotment for the month .A bill that was supposed to be around $25.00 turned into almost $ 85.00 so I dumped it.

Poor! My internet still slows down to 3-5 Mbps while I pay for 10 Mbps unlimited. No resolution or reasonable usage increased speed offered. I complained about slow speed multiple times like 1/2 or 1/3 of what I pay for and got no resolution. Offered higher speed with very limited downloads. Netflix uses 160 Gb a month so a 50 GB limit is unacceptable solution with added fees per GB. No resolution made. Service still slows down and tech for Roswell NEVER called me. Had BBB involved and had no resolutions. Service still sucks at times and can not get a faster connection without limits. UPDATE Told new options are coming for unlimited. Get 50 Meg for same price elsewhere and less in big cities. After complaining Cable one delivered 10 Meg regular for $60 a month. Very reliable connection rarely go down. Unless they send a surge and it blows your filter then they try to charge you to come over and test it inside your house (New fee if problem is inside house just like land line phone). Be nice when other fast options are available from DSL or other cheaper services.
Description of Work: Does not have service faster than 10 Mbps for unlimited at $60 a month. I tried and tried to get contract for more than a few GB a month at 50Mbps and will not do it unless business at $260+ a month. My service was interrupted several times. I get a connection of 3-5 Mbps at times while I pay for 10Mbps and let them know multiple times and never got resolved or a call back even with BBB help. Asked to increase speed and back it off so I get the 10 Mbps I pay for no response. Netflix uses like 160 GB a month so a 50 GB or package deal 100 GB limit a month is not for anyone that uses netflix online. Techs never called me back after several calls to local office threw out of state switchboard. Wish they offered faster unlimited for residential and actually supplied what you pay for. Unfortunately no one else can compare to their speed here in Roswell, NM. Can you say monopoly.

IT DID NOT GO AT ALL! They say they offer 24/7 customer service and you can get a busy signal for hours.
Description of Work: If internet service is down they usually DO NOT answer phone lines for customer service...instead they will put customer service in busy signal mode and are swamped with calls. They also roll the local phone number over to Corporate Customer Service (before and after hours) in Arizona and usually followed by a busy signal also. If they happen to answer the phone you will get a "help desk" technician who will troubleshoot your end and then tell you he must make a report and contact the local service center (a big waste of time since their service is down and they won't admit it for fear of you asking to deduct charges for 24/7 service they CANNOT provide-they may also say they will credit you but I have found out that is a lie) and make local service aware of problems! I have called so many times with issues that I have both the local number and corporate number both memorized and in my speed dial!
