Mark does high quality, careful work at a reasonable price, and is generally very knowledgeable about different kinds of furniture.  He explains what needs to be done and follows through.  He is working on another piece for me now, and I definitely will use him in the future.

The table turned out amazing - quite literally I was speechless when he brought it back because it looks brand new and never used. I think that Mark is one of the few craftsmen left capable of such a feat. Very interesting eccentric guy who has vast knowledge of antiques. I have another table stored out of state that when I get hold of it, I definitely will call mark to repair as well.

Estimate was explained in detail and what work would be covered by the estimate. Different scenarios were discussed, but I wanted repairs that would make the piece more sturdy than the original This was accomplished and I was very satisfied with the results.

He did a very good job. It was a very successful repair. I was very satisfied with the price. The only criticism is that he takes a long time with the stuff. He has a back log and it is often a couple of months before you get your stuff back. Once you get an appointment with him he is prompt and never late. Sometimes you have to call him every three weeks or so to give him a little prod to get to it. I would use this provider again.

Mark, the owner, came and consulted with me about my knotty pine cabinets and doors. He is an eccentric friendly hardworking person. He came highly recommended by a friend who warned me that he is very busy. He sounded busy on the phone, but did not make me feel that my call was not important. He is a bit scattered in making appointments and had to change one of my appointments. However, he was punctual and very hard working. He is magic with wood. An extreme intellect with a talent in turning questionable wood to beauty! Hard working, ethical and a pleasure to have working in my house.

This gentleman was not able to help us with our project (furniturre recovering). He called back promptly to advise us he mainly restores wood. But he gave us a reputable recommendation for someone else and the work is already being done. The person he referred us to has been great, professional, and provided reasonble costs for our project.

Great from start to finish

We moved 1000 miles and in the process our dresser top was marred badly by the moving company. I reported it to them and they sent Mark out to repair it. He was able to diagnose the issue over the phone and get the approval of the movers to come out. He showed up exactly at the time he said he would be here, and rubbed out the mars and applied polish. He also touched up a few other nicks and mars that were not the fault of the movers, and did not charge us for this extra service. He did a great job and the dresser top looks like new again. He also was very open about sharing information about furniture finishes, and we learned a lot.

THEY GAVE ME MANY TYPES OF CLOTH TO CHOOSE FROM. THEY EVEN ADDED SOME PADDING FOR ME FOR FREE. THEY ARE A RELIABLE COMPANY AND THEY ALWAYS ARRIVE ON TIME.
