West Honda

The water pump began to leak coolant shortly after purchase. The water pump has been replaced 6 times and the problem has continued to return. My son believes the engine has a defect that results in premature wear on the water pump. Repairs have been made under warranty and he has already been notified that the warranty will not be renewed - the warranty was paid for extra as an extended warranty. My son has filed papers with the New Mexico attorney general under the state's lemon law, and this qualifies under that law. He has spoken with Terry West at West Honda and was told "you gotta do what you gotta do" with respect to filing with the attorney general. This has caused my son to make many trips to West Honda to try to iron this out to no avail. The last time the pump was replaced my son had asked West Honda to give him the pump that was removed, but they said they "lost" it.
