Well Mr. Tortorici was paid in full in June 2011 for his part as the plumbing sub-contractor. He told my husband on the Friday he was paid that he would be at our home that Saturday morning about 9am to complete his work and to fix everything that was not working properly, as well as to return our house key. We have never seen him since he received his check. He has never returned our phone calls, the main contractor's phone calls, or the city inspector's phone calls. It is like he dropped off the face of the earth. The guest bathroom sink leaks under the cabinet. The plumber put in the guest bathroom faucets, but left the plunger up high rather than fixing it as it should have been done like in the masterbath. My husband had to adjust the plunger/plug himself. The fixtures the plumber placed in the bathrooms and kitchen were placed into the walls, etc without adequately caulking them. There were holes aound the fixtures that I caulked myself. The plumber scrathed our new faucets while inserting them into tthe walls and sinks/basins. The master bathroom commode still squirts water all over the floor every time we flush it. Both commodes leak from the water hose inserted into the walls. The outside water faucets were supposed to be winterized. He has never even talked to us about addressing that issue. The plumber was suppose to place the water line next to the house, water proof it and then cover it in stucco to match the house. This water line is in front of our house next to our bedroom window. We have pipes sticking out of the ground and a wooden box that the main line has been covered with. But he has not ever come back to waterproof or stucco it or get someone to stucco it, etc. He won't return phone calls from anyone and he has never returned the key. I don't particularly enjoy having some complete stranger in possession of our home key, or that he can let himself in at anytime. We replaced all the door knobs and locks throughout the house after we closed on our house. We purchased high-end door knobs, so we wouldn't like to have to do so again because the plumber refuses to return the key he was loaned. Nor do we want him to have access to our house since we no longer trust the man. His work was slipshod and never completed. I and my husband would never want anyone else to be scammed by Sal Tortorici the way he scammed us. He is not trustworthy, he is not a man of his word, he is totally unreliable and his work ethic and his work in particular are below par (way below par). We have already told everyone we know never to hire him for their plumbing issues, but that is only a small percent of Sal Tortorici's future income. I want to ensure that everyone who reads these reviews understands that Sal Tortorici is not a plumber that anyone would ever desire to hire for their plumbing needs.

He helped us when our usual plumber refused to come immediately to look into our issue. We called him and he said that he couldn’t guarantee to do the work that day, but that he would send someone immediately. The guy showed up and sucked up all the water in the garage. He turned off the valve to the water heater to stop the problem. Then Sal showed up and said that he could fix the problem with a new water heater by the end of the day. He gave us a price and we agreed with that. He came back that afternoon and solved the issue with a new unit.

I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THE WORK THEY PERFORMED BECAUSE THEY HAD TO COME BACK TO FIX IT MORE THAN ONCE. I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WILL NOT HIRE THEM AGAIN.

THE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD WITH THIS COMPANY WAS VERY GOOD. THEY WORKED EFFICIENTLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK.

THEY KNEW THEY PEOPLE VERY WELL SO THEY SAID THAT THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB FOR THEM. THEIR PRICE WAS FAIR. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS VERY GOOD ALSO. AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE.
