Steer clear from this business I received very poor customer service and hollow lip service from the owner. I ordered custom cut glass for a desk top which I put 50% down upfront per their request. Glass top was ordered and owner charged the remaining 50% balance upon receipt for damaged glass. Then owner immediately blames the customer for the damaged glass and actually had the audacity to ask for more money to fix the problem. The small piece of glass was already overpriced at $161.00. Owner initially wanted an additional $50.00 to order new glass. Customers will always be wrong at this shop. Finally after numerous calling and complaints to the owner he agreed to replace the glass at no additional cost. However he never lived up to his word or promise to do so. He then decided he would no longer take my calls by not answering his phone. His flawed thinking points to the problem just hopefully going away not realizing the problem has just multiplied. Bottom-line money spent and no glass or final product received and the owner decided to make a very bad business decision by not living up to his promise to replace the glass. I also offered this business owner an out to refund my money 100% or give me the glass but I have seen neither to date. Future or potential customers beware. Be well-informed before deciding to use this business. This business deploys dishonest business practices and tactics. The owner tells you what you want to hear then makes promises he cannot deliver. Please do not be taken advantage of by this company. Not surprising this business is not registered with the BBB so I am forced to file a consumer or criminal complaint with the New Mexico State Attorney Generals office. In addition I will notify at least 75 of my closest acquaintances, friends, and business associates so they don t fall victim to this vulturous and illegitimate business.
"Customer came to pick up his glass that he ordered for his desktop, customer walked out with the shop owner and assisted loading the glass into his vehicle, any glass leaving is inspected by customer and staff before paying or loading. Customer later returned back to the shop with the glass broken insisting that it was broken when he left. The owner offered to fix the glass at a discounted rate since we were not responsible for breaking it. Customer felt that we were 100% responsible even though glass was broken at his residence. Once again ALL GLASS IS INSPECTED BY THE CUSTOMER AND A STAFF MEMBER BEFORE IT LEAVES OUR BUSINESS."
This service was the exterior and interior detailing of my 2010 Toyota Sequoia SUV. The job included washing and waxing the exterior and cleaning interior carpets. No engine cleaning was included. The price of the service was discounted via a Groupon voucher. The advertised discount was 50%. The description of the service as stated in the Groupon advertisement was an exterior and interior detailing for a large SUV for $99.00. It was clearly stated that the service did not include engine or undercarriage cleaning. Details of what comprised exterior and interior detailing was not stated. Upon presenting the voucher to the retailer, I was informed, politely, that the service did not include waxing the exterior nor cleaning the interior carpeting or headers. If I wished those services there was an additional $40.00 charge for waxing and an additional $20,00 charge for carpet cleaning. I chose both additional services. I was given a $20.00 discount for waxing since I provided my own wax.
I had just return from a road trip and the Sequoia was soiled with road grim and bug tar. Most of the road grim was removed except for portions of the rear quarter panels on each side which were clearly not touched. Road dirt and asphalt tar were still present in the body areas exposed to soiling from tire spray. Also bug tar on the back of the exterior mirrors was only partially addressed. One mirror was acceptably clean, but the other had considerable bug tar remaining. Most of the bug tar on the front grill was removed but not completely to my satisfaction.
I paid extra for waxing and I provided my own wax. However, it was clearly evident that no wax was applied to the top of the vehicle since water spots and dust was still present when I inspected the vehicle after returning home. Based on the quantity of liquid wax remaining in the container, it was also evident that very little wax was applied to the vehicle, if any. The interior detailing was better quality although it is difficult to definitively assess since I maintain my vehicles well and the interior is typically fairly clean even after a road trip. Although I paid extra for additional interior detailing, there was no evidence that the leather seats were cleaned and conditioned. Window cleaning was very substandard. Bug tar was still present on the center of the windshield and some of the side windows had smears from sloppy cleaning.
The job was done within the time quoted and the price was a much better than quotes from most detailers, but, of course, you get what you pay for. I am not at all pleased with the quality of work and I will not be returning.
"Our auto detail employee does not do any kind of glass work or tinting, we do schedule 2 details per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, we try and have the vehicles done as quick as possible but depending on the condition of the vehicle when it is dropped off, a detail can take longer. now, if a vehicle is covered in pet hair a detail can take up to a full day."
