Marks Plumbing & Heating

Though I have worked with Steve their drain guy with great success, and had success with their heater reapair this fall, I am exceptionally unhappy with their recent unresponsiveness in the weeks after a recent leak 'repair'. My property manager contracted Mark's to repair a leak discovered under my rental property which was located somewhere along the pipe in the crawl space connected to the front yard hose bib. It was reported to us that this repair was complete, and we paid their invoice. The residents called me back several weeks later to report that the hose bib pipe seemed to be disconnected. I scheduled with Mark's to have their plumber (Dominic) come back out and assess because we use this hose connection consistently and I didn't consent to it's being made non function in the leak 'repair'. The tech refused to go under the home, telling our residents that they would not go under because there is a large sewer line leak that Mark's had been aware of since addressing the leak 2-3 months prior. As this sewer leak had never been reported to us or to the property manager, we called and emailed Marks to inquire, and never recieved any reply regarding why the hose bib pipe was left non functional or why the large grey or black water leak was not reported to us, when Dominic clearly knew that it was present on their initial visit. Leaving raw sewage under our resident's living space for months without our knowing until the stench became noticible in the home and the hose bib pipe issue was noticed. In my opoinion this is completly unacceptable and substandard work with short cuts and oversights which risk significant harm to persons living in the home, to the structure itself, to the environment, and to my wallet in that I now have to pay to have the hose bib re connected and a major clean up of the crawl space which could have been much less significant if reported earlier. I will note that there was no apparent sewer line leak before Mark's initial visit. I probably would not have left this review if someone had bothered to follow up with me after I voiced my concerns. I'd love to be compensated for now having to pay someone else to come out and repair their distruction of my hose bib, but it's the total lack of response I'm appaled by.

These guys are fantastic! We called on a Saturday and Mark and Jason were there early Monday morning to check out the situation and give us a quote on a brand new (and much needed) swamp cooler and installation cost (VERY reasonable by the way). They scheduled us for the very next day! Jason and Robert installed the new setup and all of them are friendly and fast! We were up and running before lunchtime and we couldn't be happier with how nice and cool the house finally is again and our new Aerocool works awesome! We originally had the tubing (wires?) coming off the back of the house from the roof which was an eyesore. They were able to run the setup through a different route and no more ugliness coming off the roof in the backyard, yay! Will ABSOLUTELY be using them again and if you are on the fence about calling them, don't be, they are great! Thanks, fellas!

It went great! He is extremely honest and reliable. He is always open and communicative with pricing and doesn't try to overcharge you for unnecessary things. He is also really really pleasant to work with. I have used him on several occasions and I would HIGHLY recommend him to others.

I called at 8:00 a.m., they were here by 9:00 and finished by 10:00 a.m. The work was great and they were extremely professional. I have hired them to come back in a few days to do some more work, the best complement a company can get!

All tasks were completed.

Mark came the same day I called him and repaired my furnace. It is now working fine. While here he also noticed that my water heater needed immediate attention because a fitting had rusted and corroded and was about to cause a major malfunction.

The price was good. Good job for a good price. Excellent quality. Very professional.

He was excellent. he is professional and he tells us what is going to be fixed and there were no surprises. He had to cut a whole in the wall and said we would have to fix the hole. It took a couple of hours and had to move it so the pipes will not freeze. He did an excellent job cleaning up after himself. The open communication and if they had any problem making it here on time they would call. Th office would tell us who to expect and who to call if we needed to change times.

Always happy with Mark and his company. They are kind, courteous, and prompt. They are always fair and very skilled in their trade. I will have them back out for my winter check.

We were 100% satisfied with Mark's work.. When I called Mark, he told me he could be at our house within a few hours, and he called when he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem right away, showed us the damaged cartridge, thoroughly cleaned the tub/shower valve, and installed a new cartridge. He also advised us what to do to prevent the new part from wearing out like the original part had.

It was expensive. The guy is a great guy, nice guy.

A major water leak was detected and among other problems, a pipe to the water heater was found to be leaking.  Since he had done work for us before, I called Mark's Plumbing again.  Mark was at the house within the hour.  He made the repair very quickly and cleaned up everything after he was finished.  As usual...he was very professional.  He also took the time to show me how very badly the pipes had eroded.

Mark explained everything and what he was going to do and it went very well.  He show the split in the faucet and replace it with a  new one and cleaned up after himself.  Mark & Jason were very professional and honest.  We will have him back and I told all my neighbors about him.

Mark's Plumbing was called in after other plumbers were unsuccessful in addressing the issue at my rental property.  Mark and his staff quickly identified the issue and offered options.  I decided to go with the more expensive but more comprehensive approach which led to them finding and correcting a 2nd issue.  Throughout the project, the lines of communication were clear.  Mark was always available to talk about what each, next step would be and how to get there.  He was flexible, personable, professional and his assistants were as well.  I would highly recommend Mark's Plumbing to anyone!

He diagnosed a drain leak problem and we will have him back to complete the repair. Great guy, very knowledgeable.
