Returned call promptly.  Fortunately had an electrician available within 3 hours of initial contact with Hammack.  Quickly, efficiently, diagnosed the problem.  Told us they needed to locate a particular electrical component and would return later in the day to install it.  Returned approximately 3 hours later to complete the job.  I have rarely seen professionalism and knowledge that their electrician Steve demonstrated.  Good job Hammack!!

I reached out to Hammack Electric Inc to install an outlet in my garage last month. Hammack Electric Inc was able to do a good job and stay on budget. I would use the team at Hammack Electric Inc in the future.

I was very happy with the work Hammack did.  I hired them because they were able to do the entire job.  Other electricians I talked to would only wire in the exhaust fan in the bathroom.  They did not want to make a hole in the roof to complete the installation.  I was told I would need a second contractor to do it.  But Hammack was able to do the entire job themselves, which I very much appreciated.

Originally I was told the job would take a day and a half, but they were able to finish it in under a day, which was great.  However, because the original bid they gave me was based on more time for the job, I felt they should have lowered the price since they were able to finish quicker.  I realize this isn't really how things worked, but it would have been nice.

One thing that ended up being nice down the road was that they left behind the drywall they cut out of the ceiling.  To pull the wire from the exhaust fan to the outlet they had to bore a rather large hole in the ceiling of the bathroom.  They left behind the piece they cut out, which made patching the hole in the ceiling a lot easier further down the line.

Also, they left my house relatively clean after they completed all the work.  I would certainly hire them again for electrical work.

I have used this firm for 6 years, and have always gotten excellent service. They have solved many difficult problems that others were not capable or willing to do. They always have immagination and creativity for solutions. The best electrical company in Albuquerque!

The bedrooms and living room had no ceiling lights when we purchased the home last summer. We got an estimate from Hammack Electric to wire and install lights and fans in these rooms. The estimate was reasonable and we liked the work they did for us earlier. They came out to wire the ceilings a few days before we had the rooms painted . After the painting was done they returned and installed the lights/fans, moved the breakfast nook ceiling light so it was centered over the table, and added an outlet in the laundry closet. They cleaned up after themselves, were on time and finished under the cost estimate.

They arrived on time, worked at a steady pace. They also gave me ideas re: installing ceiling fans/light fixtures in bedroom ceilings, and answered all my questions about various projects around the house. They cleaned up after themselves.

They estimated $2000 for the total job. We fired them when they had charged us $3000 and said there was another $1000 left to do. This would have been to add undercabinet lights (already wired) and two wall fixtures (already purchased). The total job would have been TWICE the estimate. The only change from the original request was to move two boxes. They charged over $500 to move two boxes. We know they worked less than 4 hours because someone was there the whole time. They claimed the work cost more because of "European style cabinetry" but they were not installed at the time the work was done. We think the work done was OK. The range was sitting there while they were working but they didn't bother to check to see if the original location of the outlets would work; they didn't and this was one of the boxes that had to be moved so the range would plug in properly. He was very busy trying to justify his price when we objected and it wasn't professional.

The wiring to an outdoor motion detector suddenly stopped working and despite my best efforts and the efforts of others with electrical experience, the loss of power could not be identified. I called Hammack electric and left a message just after their working day ended. Within five minutes I got a call back and had an appointment scheduled for the following Monday morning. The team arrived right at their scheduled time and worked non-stop until the problem was solved. Because there were two of them, they were able to address some additional minor wiring issues while the main problem was being solved. They had to deal with an owner-built addition with unintelligible wiring, but they got the job done. They were polite, friendly, seemingly unbothered by my hovering, finished the job, cleaned up after themselves, and left me with a fully operational light.
