Aquatic Pools

My pool pump was not reaching the proper operating pressure and called Aquatic to repair the pump.
The tech arrived on May 14, 2013, and told me the manufacturer of the pump was no longer in business. He disassembled the pump and told me he would determine what parts were required but I would have to obtain them on my own. We discussed installing a new pump and agreed on that course of action. He advised me it was to late in the day to contact the warehouse but he would do so in the morning.
May 15 or the 16th there was no contact so I called again on Friday the 17th. Aquatic office did not have any information on the installation schedule and could not confirm the replacement pump had even been ordered. Later on the 17th the office did call confirming the price of the new pump and I agreed to the cost. They were to call Monday the 20th with the installation date.
There was no contact from Aquatic on May 20th or the 21st, so I called again on Wednesday May 22nd. I spoke an "official" and was told they would get to the bottom of this and call me back with a firm schedule by the end of the day. There was no return call so I called again at 4:00 PM. The "official" was busy and I asked for a return call that evening. No call was returned.
On Thursday May 23rd I called at 8:30 AM and asked to speak to the "official" again the "official" was busy and I asked for a return call. After a 2 hour wait I called again and this time the "official" answered. I informed the "official" I would have to make other arrangements for a new pump and to please cancel my order. The "official" said they understood my frustration and that they were sorry it had to come to this.

Started out well got digging done and form made on time.  After pool installed had trouble getting service to correct mistakes.  In ground Vacuum system does not work as promised, solar heating was not properly installed. Had to hire someone else to correct mistakes.

It worked out pretty well for us. I was pleased with everything they did.

Construction went well but they connected the fill line to our well instead of the city water line. They even left an unattached line right where it should have connected to our city water. They didn't complete all the city inspections. They finally had the city come out 18 months after completion but still haven't finished the final corrections necessary for final inspection. They had a lot of turnover with their construction supervisors. You really need to stay on top of them but they can do good work.

In 2002, Aquatic Pools did what we consider sub par work. Some of the problems include, Mismatched concrete throughout property, pool jets not flush with pool, killed 5 x 5 area of lawn, wrong colors on some concrete work, poor design on fire pit, found used bricks were used in some walls, no pressure in jacuzzi jets, and more. Our last house in San Diego we were spoiled by the pool builder. We complained even to Aquatic Pools owner, who did come on site and see our complaints in person, but ultimately he said "Sorry, but this is New Mexico level work". A very poor excuse, wish he would have told us that with his bid. They did settle and give some money back, but we do wish we used some other vendor. I'm sure there are professional pool builders in Albuquerque, just not this one. When you spend money on a nice design you expect so much more.

AQUATIC POOLS DID A NICE JOB ON OUR POOL, BUT THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN US AND THEM WAS NEVER WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR. WHEN THEY WERE DONE IT WAS LIKE THEY DISAPPEARED OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

THEY ARE PREDICTABLE AND COME OUT AT THE SAME TIME EVERY TWO WEEKS. THEY HAVE EXCELLENT MANNERS THAT REALLY MAKES HAVING THEM OUT A GOOD EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME.

THE POOL LOOKS REAL NICE, BUT THEY WERE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SLOW AND DID NOT KEEP IN TOUCH TO SEE IF EVERYTHING WAS WORKING CORRECT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

THEY STARTED DIGGING IN MY BACKYARD BEFORE ASKING WHERE I WANTED THE POOL AND ENDED UP CUTTING A GAS LINE. THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO INFORM ME OF THIS FACT SO I DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL MY DOGS GOT SICK. I HAD TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO COME OUT AND FIX IT.
