We had spare tiles to replace carpet that had recently become water damaged in a bedroom closet. I contacted Mark last week and set-up appt. for today. Mark and Allen arrived a few minutes before scheduled time. They came in and completed the work quickly, professionally, and to our satisfaction. My wife commented on how they warned us before they used some loud equipment, which we both thought was exceptionally considerate. Although, this was a small job, I would definitely use them for future work and would recommend them to others.

We bought the flooring from the local Home Depot.  At the time of purchase they gave us the name of an installer and charged us for the installation .  When I tried to contact the installer they recommended, he didn't return my phone calls.  On the fifth try someone from his office called.  They said they wouldn''t do the installation because they didn't lay laminate over tile.  This laminate  explicitly states that it can be laid over tile but they refused.  I went back to Home Depot.  They were surprised at the installer's reaction and refunded that portion of our purchase price.  They couldn't recommend another installer because they were contracted with this man.  I kept the flooring and started looking for another installer.
After checking Angie's List, I called Mark Romero at A-Quality Install.  He came out and looked at there the flooring was to go.  He said there would be no problem in putting that floor over the tile because they did it all the time.  Within a week one of his workers came to do the leveling on the floor. A few days later they returned and put the flooring down.  They were very professional about the work and the project was completed within two weeks.  When we noticed that some of the pieces of floor looked as though they were coming up, they returned promptly and fixed that.
We purchased new fixtures for the 1/2 bath.  One of Mark's affiliates came and installed the plumbing and some of the fixtures.
Overall we are quite pleased with the floor and with the work they did.  I definitely would recommend them.  I would also use them again if I need flooring in the future.

They arrived on time, were professional, quick, and friendly. They did a lot of work in a short amount of time, and when they were done, it looked like new. The only reason I downgraded them a little on quality is that the caulk in one shower corner separated in one spot after a few months - maybe they could have used a little more caulk on that one joint. Overall, I was happy with the work, and i would probably use them again.

So I had high hopes because they called and wanted to know when they could come over to fulfill the deal. He showed up and I was fully intending for them to reGROUT the shower floor. He pulls out his caulk gun and starts caulking the areas where GROUT is missing; like in the middle of the shower floor to fill in the spaces. He finished. The caulk came out anyway. I just have been so upset with this whole episode that I wanted to forget it. Now I am writing about it because its been that long and I can tell the story. We are had the tile floor in shower pulled up and replace by real tile people. I really thought it was going to be reGROUTING NOT caulking. Oh well, my mistake.

A-Quality Install didn't come back. We're not happy with them. They never did any sealing and the grout cracked, they never had the grout stained. They were punctual.

This last year we decided to remove all the carpeting and crumbling flooring in the kitchen, laundry and pantry areas.  The next problem was to choose the kind of tile, the color and design.  We went to Home Depot and Lowes to look at the types of tiles and designs available.  We did not find either the service or the
selection of tiles to our liking.
We agonized over choosing colors and patterns, surfing the web.  We found two sites that had the colors and designs on floors.  We chose those.  We then needed to find someone that could that could remove the old carpeting and remove the old
flooring.  After searching through Angie?s list, we found A Quality Install.  I called and spoke with Mark Romero, the owner of the company.  He was interested in the job, even though we are in White Rock and his area is closer to Albuquerque.  He came to the house, looked it over and accepted the job.
The total square footage was ~950 sq. ft.  We showed him the tile selections that we found on the net, including the colors and patterns.  Mark said he could probably find the tiles at a better price that I could on my own. So, we accepted his offer.  He
found the exact ceramic porcelain tiles that we wanted.  He found the small decorative tiles for the design in the living room and the ?diamond? squares that went into the kitchen, dining room and the laundry room.  These are beautiful scroll work designs made from 1/8?x1/8? marble columns.  They come anchored to a mat ready for placement and grouting.  They are expensive for a total diamond (2?x2?), but I plan to live here and decided it was worth the cost to get a floor that has beauty as well as durability.
We set the date to start work for the 12th of November and they began then.  They took up the carpeting and linoleum type flooring, cleaned the cement, and then moped it with bleach.  The bleach was to take care of the accidents that the dogs had over the years.  They then worked professionally and timely.  They finished the work on time, a few days before Thanksgiving.  There
were no extra or ?hidden? charges.  The price given to us was what we paid.
We are very satisfied with the workmanship and would recommend them to anyone looking to have ceramic tile put down.
This review is coming in late due to the holidays and other family obligations that took time.

The new caulking was professionaly applied. Each line was straight and smooth with sharp edges. Unfortunately, it began separating from the shower surface just a few months later. It hasn't been a year, and already the caulking will need to be replaced. As for the price, $79 for 4 hours of quality service would have been a real bargain, but $79 for the caulking of one shower that didn't even last a few months, not so much!

The A-Quality Install LLC did not have a and quot;dremeland quot; tool or standard grout removel tool, instead he tried using a pocket knife scrape out the old grout. This grout removal method was largely ineffective and did not remove all the discolored grout. The application of the fresh grout did not fully eliminate the discoloration. The removal and replacement of the caulking was done okay, but the worker missed several spots. The workmanship was lousy and demonstrated that he didn't come prepared to do the work and was not motivated to do a quality job. The customer shouldn't have to supervise the worker.

Allen and Mark both came to our home to meet with us and measure our floors. They gave us a bid before they left. That was great. I had other bids that took over a week to get back. Our bamboo flooring and ceramic tile are absolutley stunning. They are very professional and talented guys. And, their helper, Wayne, is such a hard worker. I was amazed at the speed they all worked. They have worked together for many years and it shows. They are a great team...I highly reommend them.

I bought an Angie's big deal that was good for 4 hours of tile work. I contacted the company and scheduled a date and time for them to come out. They talked me through where to find the color of the grout on an old bag that the previous owners had left behind. The job was small and they did nice work.

Mark and Alan showed up exactly when they said they would. They verified our wishes on the pattern of the floor (diagonal) and suggested a way to re-do our fireplace which we did implement. They cleaned up during and after the installation and were very respectful of our home. They were friendly yet professional, and very knowledgeable about their craft. The job was completed quicker than we had anticipated, and beautifully done. We would definately contact Mark and Alan again should the need arise for more work. Great job!
