"I have used Drew a few times and he always does a great job, so I recommended him all the time. He does a thorough job and always does what he says he is going to do. He has also taken care of some pressure washing for me."

Emergency services offered

"If I could, I would give Sean an A++ for his professionalism and courtesy.  Throughout the process, he told us what to expect and when to he would be on site working. His crew was courteous and friendly.  They left the areas clean each day.  Any unexpected issues that Sean encountered were immediately shared with us and worked out to more than our satisfaction. The only complaint I have about Blue Sky Roofing is that they only do roofs.  Wish I had this young man working on all the projects at my home.

"I hired Bosque Cleaning Service to do yard maintenance and clean up. There was a good amount of work to be done, including removing weeds, leaves, and some various other trash. Their team did an amazing job and was very well priced! They went above and beyond what I was expecting. They were able to get me in last minute right before Thanksgiving. I had so many compliments from guests on how well my yard looked. Definitely recommend and I’ll be using them again in the future!"

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Usually 1-2 hours, depending on gutter length and condition.

The kind of gutter guards you have will affect how often you need to clean them. The more basic type of gutter screen requires cleaning once or twice a year. With a micromesh screen, you may be able to extend the time between cleanings to every two years or so.

However, if you have trees near your roof, you’ll need to clean your gutters more frequently, especially if you have chicken-wire or colander-type gutter guards. If you have pine trees near your roof, you may even need to clean your gutters quarterly, as tiny pine needles can get through any type of gutter guard.

Once you’ve installed your gutters, you'll need to maintain them. You should clean your gutters once or twice a year to keep them functioning correctly. But if climbing a ladder and scooping out handfuls of wet leaf gunk is just not your thing, you can hire a professional gutter cleaner near you to do the job.

Icicles don't necessarily mean your gutters are clogged or bad, but they can indicate an underlying issue. While clogged gutters can cause icicles to form, the problem could also be an ice dam on your roof from poor insulation. In that case, melting snow can refreeze in the gutter even without a clog. Regardless of the cause, the weight of the ice can damage your gutters or even rip them completely off the house. If you are unsure of the underlying problem, it's best to call a roofing company to assess the issue and implement a permanent solution.

Gutters should be cleaned at least twice a year, in the spring and in the fall, to remove the debris from trees that can clog the eavestroughs and downspouts. Debris like leaves, twigs, and seed pods can build up and cause your gutters to overflow, potentially causing damage to your roof and foundation. Water backing up under the shingles can rot the edge of your roofline. Overflow water falling next to your foundation can end up leaking into your basement or crawl space.
