They did not leave my receipt to get my $50.00 cash back. They also left my washer with a lean and now it dances when running. They have to come back to level the machine.

They did a great job. Two weeks later the carpeting started pulling up and they were back immediately to fix it. I liked that I had a good carpet and when I switched people they continued to recognize that I still had the discount. Some places when you're talking to different people about it they don't know what you're talking about; so I appreciated that. I also liked the fact that they worked with me late into the evening instead of asking me to come back tomorrow. Their price was great

The store's display made it very easy to get a rough idea of costs, for a simple, laminate countertop.   I figured about $1200.   In early December I went in and inquired about the schedule.   I was told that before Christmas was out.   Since I wasn't quite ready, I said "so if I come in the week before Christmas, I can expect Mid-January?".  The reply, "yes, and if you come in then, it'll be 5% off".   So I asked when the 5% offer would start, and was told.   Two weeks later, I went in, ordered and got the 5% off.

In general, there were more add-ons than I expected.   I  said yes to the tearout ($200) and there was a charge ($60) where I needed the corners rounded.   Using my measurements, I figured under 55 square foot, but was billed for over 61 square foot.  The difference may be due to waste at the diagonal seams.  I said yes to having them handle deplumbing/replumbing the sink, until I saw the extra charge for that ($300) and figured for that price, I could handle it myself, since I had over time replaced almost all of it myself anyways.   It took less than an hour before, 1/2 hour afterwards, so that part of the price, even considering they needed to call-in a separate plumber,  is on the outrageous side.

The same guy (from Albuquerque Stair) who would do the install, did the measurements for the template.  I liked that concept.   Though I had mostly cleared the counter, he was able to work around the few things I hadn't moved.   His measurements worked out perfect, and no price adjustment was necessary.   He also told me what cabinets I would need to clear out before the install.  He couldn't make the initial Friday appointment due to a job running late, but he came in and measured on Saturday (usually a day off) since I was on my way out of town the following week.  I was expecting a mid-January install date, but got a call the first week in January, when they would have set an install appointment, but one of the pieces arrived with a crease, so they had to send it back.   A week later, they called again, set the install for two days later.  As it was, they still beat my mid-January installation expectation.

Installation went smooth, they arrived ontime, and it took about 3 hours, mainly due to the original counters being simply nailed down plywood with laminate over the top.   This apparently complicated matters as I assume the correct bracing and support wasn't in place.  Communication throughout the process, including rearranging the measurement visit was great.

Home Depot was very helpful in helping us pick out a countertop. Wayne in the kitchen department helped us with ordering and with info on the additional parts we needed for the plumbing and faucet. The guys that came to install it were professional and the countertop looks great. From the first day with Wayne to the last day, this experience was great!

I set up the installation on a Wednesday and was told I would receive a call in 48 hours. I was finally called on Monday after I had called twice to let them know I had not heard from anyone. They said the report did not go in until Friday. The installers came out with a small ladder even though I had paid additional money for a twenty foot ceiling install. They were also two hours late. However, once installation was complete I called to complain. The assistant manager at home depot was not only understanding but very customer oriented. He offered me a refund on my installation for my frustration and all of the problems. Because of his professionalism I shop at Home Depot for everything!
