Olivas Tree Service

We can't say enough about how well Mr. Olivas and his crew did on both visits to us.  We're very impressed with his punctuality, the quality of his work, and his reasonable prices.  We would recommend him highly to all who need services that he provides.

Francisco Olivas came by a few days before and we discussed the scope of the work.  On the agreed-upon day he showed up on time with two helpers, a trailer, and all the tools needed.  I altered my original plan somewhat and added additional work.  
Francisco has a pleasant personality, is easy to talk to, and has good suggestions as to options.  He is also a hard worker and climbed high into the juniper trees to help with the top trimming.  
I first encountered Francisco when I had him do similar work three years ago, at the recommendation of a friend.  He was just as good then.
It was a pleasure to have him do the work, and surprisingly inexpensive.

It went very well. Mr Olivas arrived with his crew and pruned all my trees. It was necessary to shovel a lot of snow to access the lilacs and they did that as well. The lilacs are now shapely and beautiful. I thought I had been doing a fine job of training and pruning the young elm into a healthy pretty tree, but Mr. Olivas told me that I was leaving too many branches and pruned it as well. Mr. Olivas prunes trees the old-fashioned way, using slings and climbing gear to climb up the trunk of tree and then cutting off the branches. The job was done well and all the branches were taken away.
