The kitchen floor tiles were laid at different levels and cut in a haphazard way. The tiles were spaced in an uneven way. The tiles are so uneven that when you walk on the floor you stub your toes on the edges. I asked him specifically to use bull-nose tiles on the stairs. He said he had another solution and laid the tiles with sharp edges on the corners. It's extremely dangerous for my toddlers. I asked him to come back to fix them and complete the job. He didn't return my calls. Instead of fixing the threshold he drilled holes in the wooden floor to anchor it to the underfloor. I didn't ask him to do that. There was clearly a lack of understanding on his part as to what needed to be done. He was unable to follow instructions and has absolutely no pride in workmanship. He just wanted the job done as fast as possible with no concern at all about the client or how it looked. Overall the experience was a disaster. I was very dissatisfied with his work. He basically ignored all my calls to him and left the job unfinished.
