Gilbert and Dave Lopez

Woke up on a Friday morning with a broken and leaking water heater in my home. After trying for 2 hours to locate a new water heater and someone to install the new heater I was very frustrated. A couple of other plumbers could get to it "next week", the big box home repair stores could deliver one on Saturday and have an installer contact me by Tuesday...Finally paid for a new water heater at a local supply company and left it there. They gave me the number for Gilbert and Dave. Called Dave and he said they would try and get it done Friday afternoon and would even go and pick up the new heater for me at no charge. They actually would have done it Friday, but I gave them the impression we would not be home (actually only I had to leave for a meeting in Colorado Springs). Very professional and courteous. Cleaned up the work area better than they found it and explained the operation of the new water heater before leaving. Would definitely call them again. Got a B in promptness because they said they would be at my house at 8AM (on a Saturday, no less !) and called at 8:20 to say they were on the way. But coming out on a Saturday to make sure my family had hot water over the weekend made them heroes in my wife's eyes!
