Ryan was on time, courteous, and thoughtful with his work. We are happy to recommend him, and we were especially pleased that he was willing to tackle a series of small jobs that many/most would overlook in hopes of larger projects.
Description of Work: Replaced tile in multiple places. Walk-in shower with a tile border that we didn't like, so Ryan changed out the tiles and replaced with others that we purchased. This was a *LOT* of work, and he did a great job with a smile. He also replaced similar tiles for backsplash in both the kitchen and bath. Further - he replaced a bunch of cracked saltillo flooring tiles throughout the house.

He came out gave us an estimate of $200 and said he had 10 years experience. It sounded great to us and we agreed. He came out the next day and It started out great he worked fast and was on time and seemed cheerful and responsive. However, as time went on his work got sloppy and he seemed hurried because he said he had other jobs to get to. It was apparent that he either had very little experience or did not care about his workmanship. When we asked him to fix a few things that my wife and I thought were sloppy he initially said it was our perception and everything was fine. Then when we demanded that he fix it he refused unless we paid him more. We refused and told him we agreed on a price and for him to finish the job as we had agreed. He then told us this was more work than he had initially anticipated that he needed more money. We told him we agreed on a fair price and that he needed to finish the job. He refused to finish the job and took a very aggressive and threatening attitude with us. My wife refused to pay him for a half finished job and he stormed off and threatened to sue us. Then some one claiming to be his lawyer called us and said we were being sued and wanted information out of us. I refused to talk to her and hung up. Shortly there after in order to avoid problems I offered him $100 for a half finished job. He tried to threaten me with another law suit but he eventually relented and took the $100. Just a terrible experience.
Description of Work: He was supposed to lay paving stones in our driveway and then use portland cement and sand to grout in the joints.
