It's been 5 months since the installation and it's still perfect.

The craftsmanship was excellent and the workers were friendly.

We had an old wood floor (no idea how old. could be 100 years? or 40?) that showed it's age. It had 4 layers of plastic vinyl crap on top and was holding in moisture. bugs got into a small section of it and were destroying that section. We had a 4'x1.5' section we took out because it was so bad. One area that was blackened from water damaged. Merek came over to give me an estimate. I thought we would have to lay new hardwood on top of the old wood. He said he would just refinish it. His guys came over and replaced 3 of the worst boards. They put a small amount of putty in one little hole/crack where the bug damage was bad. Then they sanded it all and refinished it with some sort of oil. It looks awesome. We have gone through a lot of crappy contractors in the last year since buying our house. We live out in La Mesa and I don't know if it's that people aren't happy coming down here or what. Stout is the first company to show up on time every single day. One time they had something else to do first, they called. They made sure to get here early in the morning so by the evening when we got home from work the floor would be dry. I got an extra call through the week to make sure things were going well and we were happy with the work. I am very impressed by these guys. I wish that these guys did other work. I took a chance and called them after seeing their name listed on here without any reviews (i didn't see anyone else at all). I got lucky!
