REGENCY CONSTRUCTION

Jamie, the owner and participant in Regency Construction, came over to estimate the job the day after I called him. We settled on a price of $2400 which I thought was a mite high (until I saw what they had to actually do during construction). They started on the next Monday at my request and finished the next Friday. Besides building the wall itself, there was a vacuum tube to relocate into the new wall (and patch the existing wall) which had Jamie running all over town to find the parts needed. He also had to have the paint matched and purchased. His crew of two (including his Dad) were here every morning at 8 AM and each evening the work area was cleaned up, materials and tools put away and the floor swept. What a pleasure it was. The finished job including some fine carpentry was excellent. I couldn't have asked for more and I usually do- not this time.

Because Regency was doing a construction job in the immediate area, work started the next day. I don't think this could be considered normal however. They purchased and delivered all material per my instructions as to what I wanted. All material was of the highest quality- there was no sign of cost cutting. The company appears to be well funded and no and quot;up-frontand quot; money was asked for or given. There were several unforeseen trips to the paint store to get the color match exact. The work was performed in the most expeditious sequence so there was minimum or no time wasted. At the end of each day the workplace was cleaned up thoroughly and all tools and materials put away out of sight. There was never any discussion of additional costs. All in all a well planned and executed job- a pleasure.
