I seldom leave online reviews and when I do it is because the product or service was outstanding. Such was the case with Pena’s Tile Installation, Inc. Jose and his crew was very professional and friendly. They installed moisture barrier, cement board, tile, baseboard, and grout in our nearly 450 sq. ft. living room and dining room. They were in and out in just over two days and we could not be happier with the finished product. Bragging about a job well done to all our neighbors.

Tile layer did a great job with tile but gout is all cracking and falling out in chunks and Mr Pena will not even come back and look at the job when told what the problem is.

Very professional installation and grouting. The tile installer worked with owner in deciding placement of each colored tile in kitchen backsplash. The epoxy grout was done very professionally with excellent clean up of tiles. Problem floor grout was removed and then grouted to match old floor grout. Cost was slightly higher than desired but work quality was worth it. Some work was done under a contractor and some was done directly for homeowner so payments were made both directly and to the contractor.

They did a very good job. We're very happy with their work and Mr. Pena was always right on top of things. He is a very great gentleman and has a great crew.

Marvin & Alfredo were very hard workers. They were cheerful while working & helped us move the furniture in & out of all the rooms. They took pride in their work & did a wonderful job!! They cleaned up everything, even swept the garage floor when they were done!! I would highly recommend this tile contractor to anyone & would hire them again in a heartbeat!! We are very satisfied!!

Mr. Pena answered my initial call himself and promptly came to my house to provide a free estimate for tile work. Despite his hectic schedule, he arrived at my house as promised, measured the 3 rooms I wanted tiled, and sat down with me to write a detailed estimate which offered a very good price for the work to be done. He was very courteous and professional. He then met with me at a local tile store and helped me to select quality tile for my house, and arranged himself to estimate how much tile and grout I would need, and he brought it all to my house with his crew a couple of days after.
He arrived with his crew to supervise the beginning of the job, and his men were also very courteous and professional. On difficult flooring conditions, they did an excellent job installing tile and borders, completely transforming my run down kitchen, pantry, and laundry room into something beautiful. They arrived at the job and finished the job on schedule, and his men even helped me with a couple of odd jobs around the house for no fee!
Mr. Pena returned and inspect the job, and to go over the details of the work and the billing once more. He stuck to the original estimate, and refunded money for tile that was not used and for some of the labor (ripping up old tiles) I did myself to save some money.
All in all, Pena's Tile and Installation did a superb job on my house and were very pleasant to deal with, and I highly recommend Jose Pena and his company for professional and affordable tile work in your own home!

Mr Pena worked with us to define the exact  scope of the remodeling. He was attentive to our special needs (handicap access). He provided clear communication on the cost of  different options. Once the scope of work was agreed on, they executed exactly according to the plan without much supervision. Quality of work is high and they stand behind their installation. We are happy we chose them for our project and will hire them again in the future if a need comes up.

I called Mr. Pena to do an estimate and he was very responsive and professional.  He provided me a written quote and and set a date to conduct the work which I did not recieve from three other tile vendors who came to my house.  Mr. Pena's crews conducted the tile installation over a three day period and they were extremely professional, on time, and kept a clean workspace.  The did a tremendous job overall and I could not be happier with the way the project turned out.

Was very prompt and dd an excellent job. The installers were all very efficient and the job was completed in one and a half days. The clean up and removal of the old carpet was very neat. Suggestions were made and were because the made sense they were done. There were no surprises. Estimate was completely followed and there was never any pressure to add additional items or services. Very happy with the job and would recommend their sevices to anyone.

Jose Pena did a great job for us! From start to finish, he was very professional and responsive, punctual, stayed on schedule. His crew members were professional and clean--they definitely went the extra mile to make the whole experience as pleasant as possible. Honestly, we don't have any complaints at all about Jose Pena and the tile work he did for us.

We had a great experience using Pena Tile.  Mr. Pena was very responsive to our request for quote and his crew was punctual and professional.  Communication was great and if there were issues with scheduling, Mr. Pena was quick to call to and reschedule.  We had purchased our own tile and one of the boxes had defective tile, that we did not notice until after installation.  When contacted Mr. Pena came over right away, to inspect the tiles.  He informed the tile supplier of the defective tiles, pick up new tiles for us and installed them for no additional cost to us.  The quality of installation was excellent and we would recommend Penas Tile Installation to anyone.

Mr. Pena consulted with me several times regarding my project. He personally met me at Casa Mexicana several times to select the Talivera tile for my stairway. He was very patient with me taking my time wanting to get all the right tiles. The skill of his tile man, Saul, was amazing. Saul displayed the workmanship of "an artisan from the old world" in creating beautiful stairs and fireplace. Pena tile was very neat and tidy and left nothing for me to clean up. This is the fourth tile job Pena Tile has done for me. They also retiled my shower with Talivera tile, my hallway with Saltillo tile, and my portal with Saltillo tile. Needless to say, I would call them back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Pena Tile to anyone seeking beautiful Mexican-style craftsmanship.
