Laser Shield

Since 2007 the Company monitored and serviced an alarm system including sensor boxes that are used to alert the police station of panic alarms, burglar alarms and intrusions. A monthly fee was paid for this alarm service. Starting in the year 2012, and continuing in 2013, and continuing in 2014 the ratio of false panic and burglar alarms compared to the frequency the System was actually engaged to do the intended function deteriorated severely. The system became unreliable for it's intended use. A. System has generated a number of false panic alarms. The alarm was activated when I was in the house. The alarm was activated when I was out of the house.B. There were false burglar alarms also. The alarm was activated when I was in the house. The alarm was activated when I was out of the house. The alarm activation generates calls from the external monitoring station and an eventual false alarm at the police department. A false alarm history may create fines. We have had the system approximately since 2007. There were numerous conversations with the Company, the Company attempted to improve on the ratio of false panic and burglar alarms compared to the frequency the System was actually engaged to do the intended function. They have not been able to successfully fix the problem. They have tried different equipment and suggestions. Nothing has worked. MONTHLY MONITORING FEES HAVE BEEN PAID FOR A NUMBER OF MONTHS FOR AN UNRELIABLE SYSTEM. I PATIENTLY TRIED TO BE A GOOD CUSTOMER WHILE THE ALARM COMPANY TRIED TO IMPROVE (on the ratio of false panic and burglar alarms compared to the frequency the System was actually engaged to do the intended function). The Company has told me there are fewer complaints/problems with an updated alarm system called the Laser Shield Pro, and I want to swap my system out for this updated system that works.
